Furthermore, Swift displays an ability to anticipate passing lanes, adeptly read the defensive gaps, and deftly swipe at the ball for timely steals.

A promising 6’2″ wing prospect, Williams is a reliable catch-and-shoot threat along the perimeter. His hustle allows him to chase down missed shots, giving his team valuable second-chance scoring opportunities. With his stringy frame, he weaves through defenders, demonstrating a knack for attacking the rim with confidence, converting challenging shots in the paint. Moreover, he exhibits strength, enabling him to knock down shots even when off-balance and absorbing contact from defenders. His ability to hang in the air and finish with a delicate touch is remarkable. He’s not just finesse, as he’s showcased his athleticism with two-handed throw-downs and tomahawk jams in transition.
Luke Warner (Boylan – 2024)
The 5’10” guard, entering his senior season this year, exhibits an array of skills on the court. His cross-court vision stands out as he threads precision passes to cutters from the wing or along the baseline. His ball-handling is low and tight, providing excellent control of the game. He leverages both bounce and chest passes with precision, understanding when to use each to great effect. One of his signature moves includes a smooth shot fake, leaving defenders off balance and then attacking to finish at the rim. Inside the key, he employs well-executed jump stops to draw in the defense, all while smartly utilizing his pivot foot to maintain possession and create opportunities for his team.
Isaac Brockschmidt (Beardstown – 2024)
As the 5’11” point guard gears up for his final season at Beardstown, he aims to build upon his consistent performance. He possesses a deft touch from beyond the arc, reliably sinking three-pointers off the catch. With his solid and fundamental ball-handling, he prioritizes efficiency over flair, ensuring the security of the ball for his team. His ability to dissect defenses and penetrate into the key is a notable asset, allowing him to either find open teammates with passes or deliver soft finishes at the rim. In transition, he excels in running the floor, showcasing a pass-first mentality. On occasion, he also takes matters into his own hands, confidently driving all the way to the rim when needed.
Marquis Haynes (Rockford Lutheran – 2024)
Haynes consistently delivered exceptional lead passes in transition, he played a pivotal role in his team’s efficient scoring on the move. He exhibited sharp positioning on the perimeter, allowing him to be in the right spots for catch-and-shoot opportunities from beyond the arc. His remarkable quickness and finesse enabled him to effortlessly blow by slower on-ball defenders, leaving them in his wake as he drove to the basket with speed and agility. The 6’2″ guard will be a senior leader this upcoming season for Rockford Lutheran.
Daniel Loza Daniel Loza 5'10" | PG Lake View | 2025 State IL (Lake View – 2025)
Loza continues to excel as a lights-out perimeter shooter, renowned for his lightning-quick release. He consistently connects on threes from all spots along the arc, quickly heating up and making an impact. His use of the jab-step creates just enough separation, allowing him to release his shot even when closely guarded. Furthermore, Loza possesses a well-executed shot and pass fake, enabling him to drive to the rim with confidence and finish with either hand. His ability to finish reversely adds an extra dimension to his game, making it challenging for taller defenders to block his attempts. His strategic cuts within the half-court offense contribute to spacing and create opportunities for open shots. On top of his scoring prowess, Loza is a presence in transition, delivering well-timed passes and effectively stretching the floor. As a 5’9″ shooting guard, he has shown marked improvement since the end of last season, making him a pivotal player for Lake View in the upcoming season.
Angel Araujo Angel Araujo 5'8" | PG Northtown | 2025 IL (Northtown – 2025)
The 5’8″ point guard infuses a touch of style into his game, characterized by an quick first step that leaves defenders behind. His ball-handling, while crafty and at times unorthodox, remains under tight control, allowing him to orchestrate the offense from the point guard position. Araujo’s precision shines through in his ability to thread accurate passes through tight windows, and he excels in pick-and-roll situations by delivering crisp pocket passes to the rolling big man. Moreover, he adds versatility to his game by occasionally stretching the floor and knocking down three-pointers. One standout moment that captured attention was when Araujo skillfully dismantled his defender, penetrated into the lane, and calmly executed a delicate floater despite facing pressure that pushed him to the ground.
Kaden Dawson Kaden Dawson 6'6" St. Edward Central | 2024 IL (St. Edward Central Catholic – 2024)
The 6’6″ big man asserted his dominance in the paint, maintaining control and making a significant impact during the camp. His towering height afforded him the advantage of seeing over defenders, allowing him to execute precise passes to cutting teammates. Moreover, he displayed exceptional prowess in rebounding, excelling on both ends of the court. He secured defensive rebounds with authority and demonstrated a keen knack for snatching offensive boards, providing valuable opportunities for second-chance scoring.
