Highlights
Since that Monday morning practice, Landyn Colyer Landyn Colyer 6'6" | CG North Tampa Christian Academy | 2025 FL has picked up three high major offers. It’s obvious why coaches are buying into the 6’5 guard who shoots the cover off when he’s behind the volleyball line. It’s an effortless shot that he can step into or shoot off the dribble. He’s a good rebounder for position and hits the glass on both sides of the ball. He’s a good cutter who catches defenses off guard. Colyer is a good athlete who uses sudden movements to get separation. He’s improved a lot since June. He has the length and quickness to develop until a solid defender, but that will come as he gets stronger and locks in on that side of the game.
Brody Cuffle Brody Cuffle 6'6" | SG North Tampa Christian | 2025 State FL is a 6’5 wing who plays with a motor and has range on his jumper. He flashes three-level scoring with consistent deep three-point shooting off the catch, a repeatable pull-up jumper in the mid-range, and uses his length to finish among the trees.
There’s a lot to like about 6’9 forward Max Slavik on both ends of the floor. The 2024 prospect has a soft touch, light feet, and creates scoring opportunities from different areas on the floor. His primary source of scoring comes from the right block, where he can put his defender in a blender before using up and under to hit shots at tough angles. He’s a capable three-point shooter, even though his shot wasn’t falling during scrimmage. His infamous are major separators. He’s about to direct traffic from the high post and talks on defense. Slavik is a solid rebounder with big feet.
There was a lot of buzz about starting point guard Archie McFadden Archie McFadden 6'1" | PG North Tampa Christian | 2026 State FL from coaches during the session. His command of the pick and roll and offense screams veteran point guard, and he’s only 15 years old. A big difference in his play from last season to the present is the pace he plays at. Instead of being on full tilt at all times, he lulls defenses to sleep before blowing past his man with quick hesitations, usually ending with a shot at the rim. He’s a much-improved shooter from beyond the arc and on pull-up jumpers. McFadden has big hands with long arms that nearly touch his knees, standing straight up. He is physically mature for his age but still has room to put weight on a solid physique. He has plus court vision with on time and on target passes.
Ezekiel Udozorh is part of NTC’s sleeper senior class. He didn’t practice much on Monday while nursing a sprained ankle but did impress with his athleticism and finishing. At previous stops, he played with a rugged physicality but is transitioning to more of a combo guard game. He’s improved as a ball handler and as an off-guard. Should be a key piece to this team who can guard up and down the lineup while giving his team a versatile scoring option.
Evan Kramer Evan Kramer 6'2" | SG North Tampa Christian | 2026 State FL was this star-studded team’s leading scorer last season, shooting 42% from three on six attempts. This season, he’ll space the floor while flashing his ability to take defenders to the hole in space. He’s a great, energy guy who’s always smiling and keeping teammates engaged. The 6’2 guard operated as a secondary playmaker during scrimmages.
Jordan Bryant rounds out a core of talented 2026s with a high ceiling. Bryant flashed wing skills with his ability to rebound and push the ball in transition. At 6’6, he plays the four for NTC, but his skill set screams future wing. He has work to do to fill out his frame, but he can still bang down low, rebounds both ends, and use his length on defense. He’s not a lockdown defender but gives effort on that end. He’s a good athlete who can close passing windows. Can hit perimeter shots in the face of closeouts. I think this is a great place for him long term. Playing the four will teach him toughness, and NTC’s constant skill work will prepare him for a future breakout. Mid major like Mercer and Oral Roberts are already showing interest.
This version of Toni Bryant Toni Bryant 6'9" | PF North Tampa Christian | 2026 State FL is a completely different kid than the one I saw in June. He’s vastly improved his handle, his aggression is through the roof, and he’s become a three-level scorer. Bryant’s shooting and defensive potential caught my eye last year, but his feel for the game needed work. The feel is far from a concern now. He knows what to do whether he’s on the block, in the mid-range, or bringing the ball up. He’s a great pick-and-roll partner who can finish above the rim and pop behind the college line. He’s a rangy defender who can slide his feet with guards and wings. He is a high-level shot blocker who can high point a ball above the square. Bryant is a talented forward who shows leadership abilities as a young player.
Nick Mbianda and Elijah Horsey add depth at the point guard position. Each played like true point guards during the scrimmage. They have the makings of small college prospects and will benefit from working with talented players during their senior season.
2028 prospect Dallas Oliver had some run as the youngest player on the roster. He didn’t look out of place amongst the talented group. Will only benefit from playing with talent and adjusting to their speed.
