Second Team Predictions:
Jaymon Wright Jaymon Wright 6'4" | SG Meadowdale | 2024 State WA (2024) – Meadowdale HS – Jaymon has been growing his game quite a bit on the court, becoming more well rounded overall. He is going to be a top player within the conference and has the potential to make the first team. He is quick on the court and can dribble the ball at a high level.
Shawn Etheridge Shawn Etheridge 5'10" | PG Marysville Getchell | 2024 State WA (2024) – Marysville-Getchell HS – Shawn showed a lot of great things on the court during the summer league, helping be a leader on his team. He handles the ball nicely and can play high level off or on the ball. He shoots the ball at a high rate, being able to quickly release the ball.
Junior Kagarabi Junior Kagarabi 6'5" | SF Shorecrest | 2025 State WA (2025) – Shorecrest HS – Disma has great size, standing at 6’7″ and can stretch the floor smoothly for his team. He has shown the abilities to be a big time player and be a main option for this Shorecrest team. He is athletic and finishes around the rim at a high rate. He can play outside or inside the paint as well.
Mateen Usui Mateen Usui 6'6" | PF Archbishop Murphy | 2025 State WA (2025) – Archbishop Murphy HS – Mateen is a player who is going to keep rising on coaches/peoples radars. He has a very high ceiling and took a step forward last season. He has been making his offensive game more well rounded, with him improving his ability to get to the hoop. Usui could make the first team, if he has a breakout year.
Murphy Vliem Murphy Vliem 6'5" | SF Cedarcrest | 2025 State WA (2025) – Cedarcrest HS – Murphy stood out to me during the summer, especially during the Laurel Shootout where he helped lead Cedarcrest to the tournament win. He uses his body well down in the paint and is relentless on the boards. He finishes at the rim nicely, being able to use his frame against bigger opponents to help himself out. He can step out and hot the deep shot when needed too.
Ty Bloomfield Ty Bloomfield 6'0" | PG Everett | 2024 State WA (2024) – Everett HS – Ty is a fantastic team player who fits whatever role is needed for himself. He can shoot the ball off the dribble or off the catch at a high level and doesn’t need the ball in his hands to make plays happen. His handles are great, as he rarely turns the ball over. He has amazing defensive abilities too, having a high motor and solid lateral movement.
