Four states hosted Top 250 Expos this past weekend. One of those states was Georgia, whose LakePoint Sports complex in Bartow County – northwest of Atlanta – once again played host to the festivities.
There was so much talent on hand that players had to be sorted in 20 teams with five courts being utilized. Here is a look at who caught our attention from Team 10.
To our recollection, Love was one of those who we mentioned in our 2026 preview of this year’s Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. Love displayed on the court at LakePoint Sports exactly why he was worthy of our preview evaluation. He wears the uniform of Team Georgia Magic during the AAU months of spring and summer. The six foot standout from 7A Valdosta managed to make plenty of plays at the rim and he is willing to play the game on contact which will place him at the free throw line. He can find his own shots, but is also able to find offensive opportunities for his teammates.
Ethan Easterling

When attending showcase events such as the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo, one cannot help but take notice of the height that can be on display at these get-togethers. Easterling is one primary example of how a height advantage can get a team far. He stands at 6-foot-8. Looking to convert on a high-percentage bucket opportunity? Feed Easterling. Looking to do work in the rebounding game? Look to Easterling. Need a second-chance point that could potentially turn into a two-point putback? Look to Easterling. AE5 is the travel program that he plays in once his seasons with St. Francis concludes.
Sayon Watkins

There is much to say about Sayon and a lot of it has been good throughout his career. He is preparing to embark on his senior season at 4A Luella and he appears poised to close his high school career with an exclamation point. Much of the work that he does as a scorer can be found near the rim as well. Watkins stands at 6-foot-1 and plays for D-Favor Celtics during the travel months of the spring and summer. He was the only player on hand at this year’s Prep Hoops Top 250 representing the Lions and it is safe to say he did his school colors proud in the foothills of the north Georgia mountains.
Rhodes showcased at LakePoint Sports on Sunday afternoon that he is certainly on the correct road to basketball success. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 6A Gainesville will be his hoops home throughout this coming season. Redline was the travel team that he participated in. Being at 6-foot-4, that of course gives a team a height advantage and that is always a worthwhile attribute when a team needs rebounding. He is not afraid to play the game on contact and take his chances at the free throw line. A good deal of his work is done near the rim and he can get emphatic with how he finishes at the cup as well.
