Jaxon Cano Jaxon Cano 6'0" | SF Sturgis | 2026 State SD |6’0 SF| Sturgis
Cano is a gifted and versatile athlete who excels at multiple spots on the hardwood. He runs the floor like a deer, makes plays going fast, and can execute at multiple positions on the court. Jaxon can hit triples when needed and he is a consistent shooter from mid-range. He can put up points from all three levels. Cano hits the O-glass hard and he excels at getting his team extra possessions. On defense, Jaxon can defend positions 1-4 and he does it well. Cano is a grinder that will give you everything that he has. He leaves it all out on the floor! Jaxon also improved his game in a big way this offseason, expect a breakout year from Mr. Cano!
Ashton Paulsen Ashton Paulsen 6'0" | PG Rapid City Stevens | 2026 State SD |6’0 G| Rapid City Stevens
Paulsen is a very hard worker and a gym rat. He competes like crazy and makes up for some of his lack of size by competing and playing much bigger than he is. Because of his strength and quickness, Ashton can get by defenders and not only score the basketball but also create for others which makes him a great asset to the Raider program. If he continues to be consistent with his outside shot, he is going to be a very tough player to defend. The other part of his game that might be his best is his basketball IQ. Paulsen has a very high hoops IQ. The Raiders are going to be tough this year and Ashton should be in the mix for some minutes at the varsity level. If Ashton continues to improve, he has a chance to play a major role on the varsity team. Look for Ashton to add depth to the Raiders varsity squad. Keep eyes on Mr. Paulsen this winter!
