About Kozlowski: Brody is on pace to surpass the 1,000 point mark and putting him in elite company. He is currently ranked #2 in the state in The Class of 2024 and the top homegrown player in the state. Brody was instrumental in Corner Canyon winning a 6A State Championship last year as the double-double machine was doing his thing. This Spring/Summer he was a big part of his Utah Prospects 3SSB team winning the mythical Adidas Championship bringing the hardware home to Utah. Brody is a mismatch problem because he has the strength and bigger body to do work inside and the soft touch and shooting ability from beyond the arc. Not only does he make things happen on the offensive side of the ball he is a superb defender that can hold his own against players with a lot more size than him. This is what makes him a great get at the next level as he heads to USC after his senior year.
Why he can win Mr. Basketball: Brody has one of the best chances to win a back to back title and he is a big focal point in what Corner Canyon does, which means his teammates could really benefit from the attention he will get. His ability to impact the game even when he is not scoring is impressive as is that rebounding ability. When he gets rebounds he has that grab and go ability that can impact everyone on the floor in a positive way because he can get that break going quickly as this team likes to play fast. If he is able to seal up that 6A State Championship then this award is as good as his.
