This first one will be a 2 part article, but most will just be one. Here we will start with BFL Prep and their 2024 players and some of their 2025 players.
Nikita has tremendous upside and has been improving at an extremely high rate. He is benefitting practicing against elite talent that the BFL roster holds. Tyukalo has a versatile offensive game, finding his spots and getting to the rim in many efficient ways. He has been improving his overall game on both sides, being more well rounded on the defensive side. He’s been gathering some Division 1 looks as his senior season gets underway.
Jayden is a lengthy big man who stretches the floor nicely for the team. His athleticism is insane as he can jump out of the gym easily. He works from the wing well too, being able to rip and go smoothly for his size. His upside is high as he’s a Division 1 athlete. He has been gaining some looks at that level and will likely gain more looks throughout the year.
Noah is a player who is going to have tremendous growth throughout this season. He is an excellent defender, having great length and great shot blocking abilities. He is a quick guard who has tight, solid handles. Oywak creates his own shot very well, being able to create space for his jumper easily. He is starting to gain Division 1 looks.
Gerwer is a versatile player, being able to do it all on the court. Defensively he can guard multiple positions and has a high motor, going 110% every possession. He rebounds at a high level being able to box out opposing players efficiently. Gerwer can hit shots from all around the court and finishes above the rim at a very high rate.
Dwayne is a shifty guard who excels with the ball in his hands. He handles the ball at a high rate and can find his teammates easily. Haliburton finishes at the rim better than most people in the 2025 class as he is able to adjust his body to keep control of the ball. He isn’t afraid at attacking the bucket, no matter who is down in the paint. His confidence is high and so is his potential.
Landon is a big man who rebounds the ball very well. He dominates the paint and can finish with either hand at a high rate. Brooks has a high motor, being relentless on both sides of the ball. Landon always does what he can to help the team win, putting his teammates first. He sets solid, strong screens and rolls very well in the pick and roll game.
Marcus is a player who plays great defense. He is able to pick up 94 feet and will do so each and every game, the whole game. He is a team player, bringing a ton of energy to the court. He is talkative on the court, always standing up for his teammates on and off the court. Marcus is working on making his offensive game more well rounded and when that happens, he’ll be even more dangerous on the court.
