Let’s look at who was scoring the rock and shooting the ball well. Who put on a scoring clinic?
Turner Thompson Turner Thompson 6'5" | SF St. Thomas More | 2024 State SD was an absolute bucket in session I. The lefty was nailing shots and getting to the hoop to finish, all night long.
Andre Austin got to the hoop whenever he wanted. Created space off the drive and is a high percentage finisher by the hoop. Super smooth and explosive in the lane.
Colton Smith Colton Smith 6'5" | PF Mitchell | 2026 State SD had a game in session I that he was nearly unstoppable and heavily dominant. There was no one to matchup with him.
Reggie Rice Reggie Rice 6'5" | PF Grafton | 2026 State ND showed a well-rounded offensive game, with length and size. Really impressed in a big way.
Luke Bruns showed-out and is making progress and making a name for himself as a valuable recruit in the South Dakota 2025 class. Had big scoring sprees. Saw him hit three threes in a row.
The 6’8” kid from Ellendale, Kade Schimke Kade Schimke 6'9" | SF Ellendale | 2024 State ND , came out of nowhere to show a versatile scoring arsenal.
Lane Tvedt was a high volume scorer, but he also hit a lot of shots and threes. He can catch fire — and he did.
Jackson Schauer Jackson Schauer 6'1" | CG Faith | 2024 State SD used his quickness and shot-making to be one of the top scorers. Especially lethal from three.
Nick Hanson Nick Hanson 6'8" | PF Viborg-Hurley | 2025 State SD scored with his size and length. Too much size for most teams and had a bunch of dunks.
Carter Evanson Carter Evanson 6'2" | SG Horace | 2026 State ND is a talented scorer and could put up massive numbers if he wasn’t so unselfish. Had a lot of transition plays, as well as being one of the top three-point shooters.
Austin and Caleb Terveen Caleb Terveen 6'2" | SG O'Gorman | 2025 State SD both showed highly impressive offensive scoring skill sets. They had a handle and could hit their shots, and maneuver in the lane to finish. Stock is up.
Jack Erickson Jack Erickson 6'5" | SF Baltic | 2024 State SD of Baltic had a few scoring outbursts, where he was attacking and trying to score and make shots. His vertical helps him a lot.
Max Engebretson Max Engebretson 6'3" | SG Sioux Valley | 2024 State SD was ultra-aggressive in trying to show his offensive capabilities and game. He delivered and was one of the most impressive scorers.
Daniel Jones Daniel Jones 6'2" | SG Sioux Falls Jefferson | 2024 State SD scored and scored, and scored some more. He was a major stock-riser by his ability to get buckets and hit difficult shots.
