Erickson has taken things to another level this season. He’s around 21-22 ppg. and I think he’ll need to be above that average in this one. He’s shown he’s capable of hitting the 30+ scoring mark.
Jack was spectacular in this game, scoring 34 points. He started the game out with a three from the wing, then he really got going, getting to the hoop and finishing with athleticism. Showed a well-rounded skill set, shooting the three well and with confidence, and his usual high-flying ability. Made some impressive finishes at the hoop and some difficult jumpers. Stock continues to climb.
WHY? I watched him a handful of times this offseason and Erickson looked tough every time. I like his size, athleticism, and skill set. Erickson will drain a 3 on one possession and dunk in your face on the next. He is a large wing that can hurt you from every layer. Jack can make a pretty finesse play or out-tough you inside the paint. He has really improved this past year and that should keep happening. I am excited to see Erickson go against some of the top ND guys and see what he can do.
I have seen him play a handful of times this spring and Jack is always shooting it well from beyond the arc. His shooting stroke is consistent and soft. As a bigger wing, Erickson has no trouble getting his shot off against smaller defenders. Jack is more athletic than I realized. He was going up and dunking with 2-hands easily. Erickson is bouncy and explosive to the rim.
