We’re covering the Cap 6 conference, filled with lots of young talent from schools like Cardinal Gibbons, Sanderson, and Leesville Road. Check out our picks for their all-conference team below.
Last Season Stats – 20.6 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 4.8 APG
Fife is a do-it-all guard that will dominate this conference once again this season. He’s a leader at the point guard spot and makes plays with his shot and his passing ability all the time. Elite decision maker and command of the game is there with him, which makes him dangerous if you cannot speed him up or pressure him at all. Good scorer at multiple levels which also puts pressure on the defense consistently.
Last Season Stats – 15.6 PPG, 4.6 APG, 45 3PM
Smalls was injured in the spring but still looked good this summer with Gibbons as he continues to progress in both basketball and football. He’s an impressive passer as well, attacking defenders and using gravity to open up lanes for his teammates. His efficiency is still a work in progress but it’s normal to see those things from a freshman. His talent is undeniable and should be in line for a breakout year this season.
Last Season Stats – N/A
Oxendine is a gifted scorer that continues to get better and better by each time I see him. It all starts with his ability to torch from the perimeter, with a flamethrower of a three point jump shot especially as a spot up threat. He can create for himself a little bit but primarily does his damage off the ball as a cutter and spacer. Decent passer and defender on and off the ball, which makes him playable even when his shot isn’t falling. He should be in line for another impressive year over at Leesville.

Last Season Stats – 10.8 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 2.0 SPG
Pedersen is a bigger wing that knocks down shots and plays with physicality, and should be a big returning piece for Enloe this upcoming season. Really impressive shooter for his size and spaces the floor well in order to get open looks from his teammates. Capable finisher around the hoop as well. Really impressive as a rebounder on both ends, as well as being able to be a competent on ball defender that can guard multiple spots on the floor.

Last Season Stats – 12.9 PPG, 8.9 RPG, .8 BPG
McSweeney was a huge stockriser last season, and his continued impressive play makes him a target to have a big junior year and be recruited by more Division 1 schools. His offensive game is improving continuously, with his perimeter jump shot and face up game improving by the day. Athletic enough to make an impact on defense as well with good feet and vertical pop. He should be an important piece of an improved Gibbons team along with his teammate Smalls.
