You may not know his name yet but you will soon. He sat out last season after transferring schools. I saw him at the Top 250 Expo and he was great. An athlete with length who can play inside and out. He was impressive breaking down the defense and finishing strong at the rim. He uses his length to his advantage and has good quickness and explosiveness. He can knock down shots from three but his best asset is getting to the rim as an active wing player at 6’4. A prospect on the rise.
Hayden is a player who I watched this summer in Centralia. He is tough as nails and plays with a high energy style. He is a great shooter with plenty of range. More like an elite shooter. He has improved his strength and uses it to bully guards off the dribble. He can pull-up and hit the mid-range jumper or get to the rim. He was tough with this and got by the defense seemingly at will. He plays defense and dawgs opposing guards with ball pressure. A break-out year after already averaging 14 points per game last season is very likely. Prospect to watch if you want a tough guard. rn
He along with Braydon Olson Braydon Olson 6’2″ | CG Mark Morris | 2024 State WA will make for one of the best backcourts in 2A. He plays with a ton of energy and high basketball IQ. He’s a knock down shooter from three and has a great mid-range game. His floor vision is excellent. He’s great at getting into the lane and finding open teammates. Olson is the best guard in 2A in my opinion but this kid can also ball.
Highlights
Also saw him at the Top 250. He was on the all tournament team. He continously got into the lane and used some crafty moves to finish. He is more athletic than you might think and can finish around the rim. He has good length on the perimeter along with the skills to score from all levels. He got a lot of tough buckets in the lane during the tournament. He should have a break-out season for Pullman with plenty of buckets left after the graduation of one of the best scorers in the state, Jaedyn Brown.

Zach Carlson
A central 2B 1st team selection last season for Wahkiakum. He averaged 18 points per game. He will shoot it from anywhere and you can’t leave him open. He is deadly from three. He has good strength to finish off the dribble and gets to the basket under control. His ability to knock down 26 footers opens up his game to get buckets at all levels. He will be a handful in the Central 2B this season as a true scoring guard.
