Border League: Top Playmaking Wings (Pt. 3)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>LAS VEGAS — Bishop Gorman, Coronado and other Vegas-area high schools played host to one of the premier high school/prep school basketball events of the year over the weekend. The Border League brought teams from across the country to Southern Nevada for a three-day event which was loaded with top team and individual matchups. In this piece we take a closer look at the top performing wing playmakers from the weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":4} --> <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1301344' first='Kingston' last='Tosi'], 2025, Millenium (AZ)</h4> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Because he's in the mix with a bunch of five-star prospects, Tosi likely isn't the most recognizable name in this series but college basketball fans should get familiar with the name. The 6-foot-6 wing has impressive length, fluid athleticism and a pop of explosiveness off the floor when he attacks the rim. I like what Tosi brings to the table as a versatile glue guy with a high basketball IQ.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":4} --> <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1409988' first='Larry' last='Johnson'], 2024, Southern California Academy</h4> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is one of the more dynamic athletes in the country and that, combined with his high level of skill, made him one of the best wing slashers and playmakers that we saw at Border League. The 6-foot-4 Creighton-commit can finish in a variety of ways around the basket and is also a consistent jump shooter from mid and three-point ranges of the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":4} --> <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1568017' first='Liam' last='Campbell'], 2024, Owyhee (ID)</h4> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Campbell continued to show why USC made it a priority to get his commitment done early. At 6-feet-5, Campbell can play on the ball because of his IQ and feel for the game but is also a very good threat off of it with his shooting ability and smart movement without the ball in his hands.
