Crudup comes into his senior season sporting a stronger frame and looking to run the floor general spot with his ability effect the game on both ends of the floor. He’s shown tremendous growth over the past few months as a presence in the backcourt that control the pace and defend the entire floor with his length and athleticism. He’s a name out of Southern Wake Academy that DI and DII college programs should get eyes on this season.
Highlights
Crump bounced back nicely from a leg injury that sidelined for quite some time and has since shown he’s ready to contribute heading into his final year of high school ball. He held his own this past grassroots cycle at Peach Jam with Team United and turned that performance into a commitment to Elon University. He’s a big man with his best basketball ahead of him with Winston-Salem Christian School.
Edmonds is a name in the Triad who’s continued to turn heads out of West Stokes High as he heads into his senior season. He’s a high-motor wing prospect at 6-foot-5 who can score in a variety of ways and hold his own defensively. He’s got some versatility to defend multiple positions and doesn’t hesitate to play multiple roles when he’s on the floor. He’s a prospect for DI and DII programs in the region to get eyes on given his abilities on the wing/perimeter and in the backcourt.
Maxwell is an under-the-radar name for North Mecklenburg High’s backcourt who’s due for a breakout season heading into his senior year. He’s got the ability to knock down shots from deep and act as a secondary ball-handler for a group that looks to make another run in this year’s state playoffs with Duke commit Isaiah Evans Isaiah Evans 6’6″ | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State #17 Nation NC leading the way.
Jackson climbs into the Top 75 at the 73rd spot after debuting inside the Top 100 in the past update. He’s shown off his development as an unstoppable presence around the painted area on both ends of the floor. He recently announced his commitment to the Naval Academy in Annapolis heading into his senior season with Reagan High.
Peaks moves into the White Oak High rotation and squarely into the Top 100 inside the state. He’s an athletic presence who should boost the frontcourt presence for the Vikings as they’re a talented group led by the exploits of Curtis Jackson Curtis Jackson 6’3″ | CG White Oak | 2025 State NC . He’s got the ability to finish with authority and create off the bounce with his athleticism. Peaks will certainly give them room to be a much more talented group with his ability to fly around on both ends.
