WV Prep Select Showcase Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Select Group had their first WV based event on September 23rd at the Highlands Sports Complex in Triadelphia West Virginia, just outside of Wheeling. A great group of participants from several states including WV, OH, PA, NY were in attendance while some noticeably high-level performers were in the spacious basketball complex of the Highlands to player_id='1309597' first='Xavier' last='Kirk'] is a 2025 guard from Hedgesville WV.  Kirk who is overwhelmingly athletic absolutely dazzled coaches and scouts alike while in the gym.  Surprisingly to most, he shoots the ball well to balance his athletic skill set and show he's not just a leaper.  Kirk certainly looks like a kid who is on the fast track to a college program given his level of athleticism.  Once word is out on this prospect, coaches will soon be player_id='2243493' first='Braedy' last='Johnston'] is a 2026 guard from Shady Spring High School.  Johnston is a big guard who shoots well above average and has a fantastic guard skill set.  Braedy absolutely impressed while in Triadelphia and scouts and coaches weren't shy about talking about it.  Only a sophomore, at 6'2u0022 this already skilled guard could grow and become a big guard or even a wing type player.  Exciting year in store for this young player_id='2218942' first='Bryar' last='Bailes'] is a 5'10u0022 2024 point guard from Midland Trail High School.  Bailes is a dynamic guard with a wide range of skills on both ends.  His impressive performance this past weekend got the attention of many in the gym most notably coaches and camp directors.  Bryar will certainly have a fantastic school season and continue his pursuit of the next
