Ansong is a mobile center with lots of ability to do almost anything on the court using his impressive 6’11” frame to dominate games. He is a force to be reckoned with in the paint as he will not be denied when going up for the throw-down. He moves like a guard almost and can catch defenders off guard with his speed and quickness with the ball in his hands. Ansong is not afraid to challenge anyone in the paint and does an excellent job of dive-cutting to the basket. On defense, he is a defensive menace around the rim looking to swat any shot that is even near him, making offensive players think twice before looking to challenge him.
Highlights
Arrington is a player who likes to play physical and tough-nosed basketball especially when inside the paint. He loves to take advantage of mismatches with his ability to get good positioning in the post so his teammates can throw it to the perfect spot for him turnaround and go straight up with it. Arrington also has a nice pump fake he uses around the rim especially when going up for it a second time once he secures the offensive rebound. On defense, he looks to block and contest any shot that comes his way.
Daniel is an extremely gifted and athletic basketball player who looks to use all of his physical tools to his advantage. At 6’11” Daniel is a freight train coming down the lane as he does not care who is in front of him as he will look to dunk the ball over anyone. His fierce and competitive playstyle gives him the edge over other players guarding him as he looks to attack their weaknesses whenever he can. If he is under the rim he will not hesitate to throw it down. His ability to cut to the basket off pick-n-rolls is what helps create space for him for easy baskets in the paint. On defense, he uses his very impressive athletic ability to sky over smaller blocks and send their shots into the stands.
Elijah likes to establish his physical presence the moment the ball is tipped off. He will control the post/painted area the whole game using his strong upper body to bully his way under the rim so he can have the best chance to score around the rim. Elijah is also very disciplined and smart as whenever he gets an offensive rebound he won’t force it going straight up with multiple defenders swarming him. Instead, he will either look to dribble out of the paint or find his open teammates on the perimeter for the open three. He will set hard screens and does an excellent job rolling to the basket.
Ekhelar is a quick and versatile player who can play multiple positions because of his 6’7″ frame. He can move quicker than most centers that are guarding him giving him the advantage when running the floor. He also plays bigger than he is as he will challenge anyone in the paint and go up strong over taller players. His timing and reactions to getting rebounds and putbacks give him the advantage to score more for his team. On defense, he can guard almost every position and you can even slide him to guard perimeter players making him a swiss-army knife for his team.
