Eli is one of the best shooters in Minnesota’s 2025 class, but he impressed me in a lot of other aspects on Sunday. He was able to blow by defenders to work himself into the lane, where he could then show off his exceptional body control for tough layups. Schroeder really just makes the game look easy and he has such a great feel for what everyone else is going to do when he is on the floor. Expect a breakout season from the Shakopee junior.

Kaden was unstoppable on Sunday, using his strong 6’1” frame to dominate opponents inside. He was cleaning up teammates’ misses for offensive rebounds all game, giving him and his team a lot of second chance opportunities. He was also able to work his way around the defense for finishes at the basket through traffic. Braxton is an aggressive player who loves to use his strength and athleticism to his advantage.

I love the intensity Kyler plays with and it is fun to watch him take on defenders in isolation situations. He plays the game fast and likes to get out in the open floor. He is tough to stop when he gets a full head of steam in transition and can convert on finishes at full speed. Pust also had some impressive passes, threading the needle to get his teammates the ball at times. He is set to make an impact at the varsity level for Champlin Park this season as a sophomore.

I really liked what Pierless brought to the table as a facilitator in the one matchup I saw on Sunday. He played the point guard role at times for his team and displayed his reliable ball handling. He was getting his teammates involved in a variety of ways, whether it was long passes to create transition opportunities, kick out passes following drives inside, or backdoor passes to cutting teammates.
Jaxon provided some consistent scoring for his team in the game I watched, converting on shots from inside and outside. I saw him knock down a deep three-pointer, taking advantage of a weak contest from a defender. He was also a difference maker on the boards, coming away with multiple offensive rebounds, resulting in second chance makes for himself. Janski was running the floor in transition for finishes as well.
Brayden was another player on this team who loved to play at a fast pace. He was great at getting chances started, pushing the ball up the floor by himself or with an outlet pass to a teammate to create an opportunity. On one play, I saw him grab a defensive rebound, then take it all the way for a coast-to-coast finish on the other end.

Isaiah was impacting the game in a variety of ways on Sunday. I noticed that he moved very well when the ball was not in his hands, making the defense have to adjust to his off-ball movement. He was causing disruption on defense as well, picking up some steals. He was usually the smallest player on the floor, but that did not stop him from getting downhill and attacking the basket as well.
