Toledo Top 64 Preview: Green Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The annual Toledo Top 64 is back for its 3rd year! It will be played at Lourdes University on Sunday, October 1st, 2023. Less than 2 weeks away! This event brings some of the best players in the NWO area under one roof for college coaches to come to watch them compete against each other. This article will talk about one of the eight rosters made up of eight players who will be at the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The green team is the most athletic team in the event. They are all very long, and tall, and can do it all athletically. This team should be a fun one to watch. They will be led by Junior and the new Whitmer Panther [player_tooltip player_id='1432039' first='Makhi' last='Leach']. The other guards who will join him are incoming freshman Isaiah Mack-Rusell and Sophomore Rogers [player_tooltip player_id='1960913' first='Traden' last='Booker']. The freak athlete out of Oak Harbor, [player_tooltip player_id='1432044' first='Ethan' last='Stokes'] will be joining Leach on the Wing while the 6'6 Forward from Hopewell-London, [player_tooltip player_id='1453126' first='Donovan' last='Elmore'] will be the team's big. Now this is a great athletic 5 but it will also be joined by elite perimeter talent like Isaiah Beauchamp, [player_tooltip player_id='1225067' first='Isaiah' last='Brenneman'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1605224' first='Amani' last='Dickerson']. This team is freaky athletic and will be super fun to watch. He is great on the defensive end as well. His length and quickness allow him to apply suffocating on ball pressure. He has great leaping ability which leads to block and a lot of rebounds. He is not afraid to use his body at all. He gets the balance off defense and he either gets all the way to the rim or pulls it up for three. He usually has a spurt every game when he goes on a 9-to-11-point run by himself. He likes to attack the rim first, but he is a more than reliable shooter. He has great defensive energy and pressure.
