A Prep Hoops Circuit star, I’ve gotten to see Booker during the spring with Ohio Clamps and at the Toledo Top 64 each of the past two years. What happens every time I watch Booker? He gets buckets. The lefty is a natural scorer who can also set the table for his teammates. One of the most talented players in the Toledo City League, Booker is a player that fans outside of the city should get to know sooner rather than later.

Booker has a high-level ability to score from anywhere on the court. His versatile scoring arsenal includes a nice jump shot, strong finishing ability at the rim, and adept mid-range skills. A true three-level scorer. He creates his own shot effectively, making him a constant offensive threat. He is an off-the-dribble scorer and has a quick release. He has a ton of confidence in his game for good reason.

Booker has impressed on the Prep Hoops Circuit both at the 15 U and 16 U levels. A point guard who can flat out get a bucket, Booker does an excellent job of creating for himself off the dribble in isolation situations and is a prolific shooter from the outside. Also participating at the Toledo Top 64 last year, Booker is regarded as one of the top guards in the Toledo City League. We’ve written about Booker a handful of times and are excited to continue to monitor his development as he makes his entry into our rankings.

Ohio Clamps had a solid weekend and their floor general Booker was making an impact on Sunday morning. A high level passer, Booker had some sweet no look passes and threaded the needle for assists multiple times in the game I caught. Also a shooter with a rainbow arc on his shot, Booker knocked down some long 3-pointers off the catch. I also liked how Booker challenged rim protectors with a couple drives and fearless finishes at the rim. The connection between Booker and Jake Woollard Jake Woollard Genoa | 2026 OH was key in the second half to push their team to a tight victory. The most talented player on the floor in the game I caught, Booker should have a monster Junior season for Toledo Rogers.

Booker had a good freshman season for Rogers last year and plans on just getting better. He was 1st team all-conference and all-district honorable mention. He is going into his second year he will be a go-to guy for Rogers. He is a 6’1 point guard with length. He has a very smooth and great pace in his game. He won’t get sped up much. He has great confidence in his demeanor. He gives you a ton of buckets from all three levels. He just makes it look simple because his game is simple. He will be a top player in the city league this year and ready to take on more for Rogers this year.

Booker just knows how to put the ball in the rim. Flat out scores. As a freshman he averaged 15 points a game and made it All-City 1st team. Just like everyone else on this team he is long and athletic. He has a great skillset and knows how to score at every level of the court but his sneaky long arms make him be affective at blocking and stealing the ball away. He is a smooth player that has great feel and control of himself when he plays.

I only caught one 15 U game on Saturday but it was a good one between Ohio Clamps and Ohio Primetime. Booker was a standout performer as the lefty lead guard hit a lot of shots from the perimeter. A smooth jumper with a quick release and good rotation, I could watch Booker fire all day long. When he wasn’t connecting from deep, Booker had a couple impressive passes including one behind the back and one no look feed for easy layups. When the defense tried running him off the line, he hit a couple one dribble pull-up jumpers to keep them off balance. I think Booker could be one of the better guards in the Toledo City League as just a Sophomore this upcoming winter.

I really enjoyed watching Traden Booker play on the Prep Hoops Circuit. I think he’s very underestimated as an overall athlete. He’s smooth up and down the floor and can create while in motion and finish with a bucket. Booker showed explosiveness in his scoring and the ability to groove his shot. Booker is definitely a player to keep an eye on with the Ohio Clamps 2026 as we move toward July.

Booker had a great weekend at the Grit Region Memorial Classic. He had one of the top overall scoring games in the 15u division, going off for 28 points. Booker is a slippery athlete that has complete control when the ball is in his hands. He has good hip movement allowing him to easily slide into a change of direction.
