Section 1AAAA Rundown
Shakopee? Or Minnetonka? Minnetonka? Or Shakopee? That will be a question all year. Tonka has the big name in NDSU committed Andy Stefonowicz Andy Stefonowicz 6'2" | PG Minnetonka | 2024 State MN plus Jordan Cain Jordan Cain 6'3" | SF Minnetonka | 2024 State MN , guard depth and they finally have depth up front in Kayden Wells Kayden Wells 6'6" | PF Minnetonka | 2024 State MN . Then you have Shakopee who has likely the deepest group of guards/wings in the entire state. So deep that their junior varsity backcourt will be better than many varsity backcourts. Plus Shakopee has a star in Jalen Langsy Jalen Langsy 5'11" | PG Shakopee | 2024 State MN , two grinders in Isaac Snell and Isaac Cordes Isaac Cordes 6'0" | PG Shakopee | 2025 State MN , and size in Luke Wherley Luke Wherley 6'5" | SF Shakopee | 2025 State MN and Mason Wood Mason Wood 6'4" | SF Southwest Christian | 2024 State MN . Tonka has a bit more experience, a bit more star power, Shakopee will have more depth. It will be fun.
Then you have Eden Prairie who has a load of young talent, a great junior backcourt, and a new leader with a group of players ready to show what they can do after a rough previous year. Then there is Waconia who returns five starters, there is Chanhassen with a big time combo of Woods and Nelson, and young talent at Chaska and Prior Lake.
