Wynter is their best player, making this a very easy selection.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>First Team</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1476938' first='Jack' last='Wynter'] (Ames): 14.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 39.5 3P%, 87.3 FT%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A sharpshooting lefty off-ball guard, Wynter led the Little Cyclones in scoring last season and showed some improved ability to create looks for himself off the dribble. He's also a really good defender who uses his length well on that end of the floor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381424' first='Abe' last='Vos'] (Ames): 5.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists*</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vos was a solid role player at Hoover last season and has now transferred to Ames, where he'll provide the Little Cyclones with some additional shooting operating off the ball. A high IQ guard who has also shown some ability to create for his teammates, he'll be a nice addition to their team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1381418' first='Jamison' last='Poe'] (Ames): 9.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.0 steals</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Poe is small, probably about 5-8, but he's lightning-quick and is a tough guard who loves to compete on the defensive end. His speed puts constant pressure on opposing teams on both ends of the floor, and he's a smart guard who likes to get his teammates involved. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 Carter Giannetto (Marshalltown): 6.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Giannetto showed some secondary playmaking ability last season for the 'Cats, and with a number of pieces from last year's roster gone, he'll step into a much larger scoring role as a senior. He can shoot it a bit, knocking down 32 3-pointers as a junior.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1751107' first='Treshaun' last='Brooks'] (Marshalltown): 9.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brooks is the top returnee for the Bobcats, who lost three key pieces to graduation and another to transfer.
