After releasing my All-Event First Team, here’s my picks for All-Event Second Team.
Keelyn Daniel Keelyn Daniel 6'2" | PF East Jessamine | 2025 State KY
Keelyn Daniel Keelyn Daniel 6'2" | PF East Jessamine | 2025 State KY
At the top of my list of notable standouts is Keelyn Daniel Keelyn Daniel 6'2" | PF East Jessamine | 2025 State KY , a 6-foot-2 power forward at East Jessamine High School. In addition to outstanding size and speed, what stands out about Daniel is his physical edge and ability to overwhelm defenders in the paint. I’m also fond of Daniel’s height and wingspan, utilizing his skillset to score layups and pull-up jumpers. Daniel additionally impressed me with his presence underneath the rim, using his aggression and toughness to collect more than a few second-chance opportunities on both sides of the court.
Highlights
I am additionally impressed with Jamarea Stone Jamarea Stone 5'11" | SF Fredrick Douglass | 2026 State KY , a 5-foot-10 small forward at Frederick Douglass High School. Stone stood out due to his strong ball handle and ability to attack the rim from both around the perimeter and underneath the rim. Another aspect of Stone that made a difference on the court was his selfless playstyle, showcasing his positioning awareness and ability to consistently pass the ball. On the other side of the floor, Stone played solid defense, applying pressure up top and inside to disrupt the offense and force turnovers.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Jeremiah Stiefel Jeremiah Stiefel 6'3" | PG Bluegrass United Homeschool | 2026 State KY , a 6-foot-2 point guard at Bluegrass United Homeschool. Stiefel caught my attention with his athleticism and team support on both sides of the court, contributing smart passing and organization at the top of the key. Stiefel also made a difference with his ability to drive to the rim for layups as well as position himself down low for rebounds. I also found Stiefel to be a solid defensive weapon due to his size and ability to elevate off the ground to block dangerous shots from both around the three-point line and underneath the basket.
Highlights
Another player to catch my attention was Logan Wring Logan Wring 6'5" | PF Livingston Central | 2026 State KY , a 6-foot-5 power forward at Livingston Central High School. Wring caught my attention with his physicality, quickness in transition and defensive effort, proving his well-balanced playstyle. With great size and ball control, Wring was difficult to stop when he attacked the rim, absorbing pressure with his strength. I’m fond of how Wring used his footwork and sudden passing to confuse the defense. Wring was also impactful in the paint defensively, stopping the offense from driving to the basket with his wing span.
Coming in at number five on my list of standouts is Gavin Murphy Gavin Murphy 5'11" | PG West jessamine | 2026 State KY , a 5-foot-9 point guard at West Jessamine High School. In addition to excellent composure under pressure and great ball control, Murphy stood out due to his offensive effort and control as he blasted the defense with his footwork, short-range jumpers, passing and ability to drive to the rim. Murphy also caught my attention defensively with his ability to quickly get back on defense and use his strength to pressure the opposition into turning the ball over.
