West did well to lead the way for the Team 12 backcourt at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He didn’t try to overdo things when handling the ball and make the easy play. He showed he could knock down shots on the perimeter off the catch and did well to show he could operate without the ball as well. He’s a 2025 prospect to track at Woodland Baptist School in the 336 area.
Palmore is a versatile presence who showed off his ability to handle the ball and lead an offense for Team 12 at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He’s a sizeable presence at 6-foot-3 who can get to the rim off the bounce and knock down shots in the midrange. He did well in spurts to show he could defend in the painted area as well. As he learns to utilize his size and frame over the next few seasons he should emerge as a top name in the 2026 class at Ben L. Smith High.
Badio is a young name to get to know in NC’s 2026 class out of Butler High. He’s listed at just 6-foot-1 but plays a lot bigger than that given his wingspan on the floor. He showed he could finish around the rim and make things hapoen in the oainted area for Team 12 at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He’ll be a solid prospect to track over the next few seasons given his play on the hardwood.
Gichaba worked well in the Team 12 backcourt alongside Jayden Scales Jayden Scales 5’9″ | PG Parkland | 2026 State NC at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He utilized his length and quickness on defense to be a contributing factor in their gameplan. He showed he could handle the ball and make things happen for others along with Scales. He also showed a knack for knocking down shots on the perimeter. He’s a 2025 name who put himself in the PH spotlight with his ability to play on both ends.
Parker Hyatt Parker Hyatt 5’10” | SG North Buncombe | 2026 State NC is a young sharpshooter who showed off his shooting stroke for Team 12’s perimeter attack. He did well in spurts to show off his ability to knock down shots off the catch. He’s got room to grow as he works on his ability to operate off the bounce and operate with others on the floor. As he finds ways to move without the ball and get open, he’ll be a name that should grow in the 2026 class out of North Buncombe High.
Scales was an impressive floor general who led the way for the Team 12 backcourt. Good things happened when he pushed the pace and looked to get others involved. He showed he could blow by defenders and finish with his quickness in the paint with a nice blend of perimeter shooting to set the tone for his squad. Defensively, he was a pest who worked well to force turnovers alongside Tylor Gichaba Tylor Gichaba 6’0″ | PG Northwest Cabarrus | 2025 NC . He’s a 2026 prospect at Parkland High to get on the radar.
Cole is listed as a shooting guard but he did much more than that for Team 12 at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He showed a willingness defend bigger positions to make up for his team’s lack of size. He scored from the painted area and stretched the floor as a perimeter threat as well. He found ways to get his touches on the floor by rebounding the ball and battling in the painted area in spurts. He’s a solid 2025 prospect to keep an eye on at Christian Family Academy.
Craig was another young, wiry guard prospect who showed flashes of what he could do with Team 12. He played a lot bigger than his listed height of 6-foot, utilizing his wingspan to be a presence in the paint as a defender and rebounder. He did well in spurts to shore up his squads frontcourt with his experience in the painted area. He’s a 2025 prospect to keep watch of at Phillip O. Berry Academy.
