Phillips was a Gamechanger: Dynamic Guard for a reason on Team 10 at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He was efficient when attacking the basket and shooting the ball, firing from all cylinders on the perimeter and in the midrange, showing off an impressive shot-making ability. He showed off his combo guard skills by getting others involved and defending on the opposite end with presence as well. He’s a prospect going forward to keep track of out of Cardinal Gibbons High in the 2025 class.
Autry is another young prospect who showcased his abilities as a versatile wing-forward prospect at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He’s a member of the 2026 class who showed he could handle the ball on the break and make things happen around the painted area. He used his size and frame well to operate off the bounce and find his shots in space. He didn’t hesitate to utilize his size on the rebounding front either, something that should carry him as he continues up the ranks. He’s a prospect out of Concord Academy who put himself squarely on the PH radar after his performance at the showcase.
Johnson is a prospect who hails from the Outer Banks area at First Flight High but still made the trip out to Cox Mill High for this year’s showcase. He’s got a solid frame already at 6-foot that he utilized well on both ends of the floor to make an impact on Team 10. He showed confidence and an impressive shooting stroke on the perimeter, a staple of most First Flight prospects, while also showing a willingness to keep others involved and doing other things. He showed he could fly around for rebounds and alter shots around the painted area. He showed he could defend a few different positions on the floor. He’s another 2026 name in the class who made his mark at this year’s showcase.
Bruce was another impressive backcourt presence in the Team 10 rotation at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He’s a burly guard who did well to utilize his frame to operate off the bounce and move through the defense. He showed he could finish in the painted area in traffic and also showed a willingness to be a presence on the rebounding front for his squad, given their lack of a lot of depth and size. He didn’t hang his head much and played a role for his team with his ability to knock down shots off the catch and facilitate.
Richards was a young, versatile presence for Team 10 who showed he could operate inside and out when needed. As a member of the 2026 class, he showed his youth/inexperience a bit given he had to play mainly on the interior, but he still managed to figure things out as things progressed. He still showed he could handle his own rebounding the ball and did well to clean up the glass when the ball wasn’t in his hands. He’s got a solid frame to grow into while he’s at Dudley High over the next few seasons. After spending time on JV, he’s got potential to earn minutes on the varsity stage heading into his sophomore season.
Sharif was another prospect who stood out in the backcourt and on the wing for Team 10 at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He’s a wiry lead guard listed at 6-foot but plays a lot bigger than that given his wingspan and athleticism on the floor. He showed he could make decisions with the ball in his hands in spurts and when given opportunities, he showed he could finish around the painted area. He’ll be a name out of Carolina International Charter School to track as an unsigned senior prospect this upcoming season.
