Knockdown shooter is where it all starts with Bruce, as he’s going to be a big backcourt piece for this group this year. He’s got parking lot range and is not afraid to get to his spot and shoot the ball whenever he can. Quick and agile which means he’s hard to stay with as he’s constantly moving, and also knows how to put the ball on the floor in certain moments. Still needs to improve his playmaking abilities as a point guard but they are solid at the moment. Scrappy defender who works hard to stay in front.

Bruce lived up to my thoughts pre-showcase as he hit threes at a high clip along with his teammates. He’s shorter but knows how to find space and seek out open pockets on the wings and the corners. Also has a really smooth release on his shot that allows him to find consistency and not be discouraged if one of his shots doesn’t fall. He’s a volume guy normally but didn’t show it Sunday, instead going for selectiveness and efficiency.

Bruce was another impressive backcourt presence in the Team 10 rotation at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He’s a burly guard who did well to utilize his frame to operate off the bounce and move through the defense. He showed he could finish in the painted area in traffic and also showed a willingness to be a presence on the rebounding front for his squad, given their lack of a lot of depth and size. He didn’t hang his head much and played a role for his team with his ability to knock down shots off the catch and facilitate.
