There is a wide array of talent coming to Grand Rapids this weekend. Let’s take a sneak peek at some of the players registered for the Top 250.
Allen is a highly skilled guard with a ton of upside. He spent the summer turning some heads and drawing attention from some notable next level coaches. Allen is an super quick and athletic guard that puts defenders on his hip and does damage. He’s an excellent shooter that can easily find his rhythm.
Amir Tarver

If you haven’t heard Tarver’s name yet, this weekend will be a great chance to become familiar with him and his game. Tarver is fast with and without the ball. He has blow by speed and change of direction. Tarver is very athletic, which seems to run in the family. His older brother is a running back at Valparaiso.
Carmello Hall
Carmello Hall
Hall has a chance to make a very loud statement at the Top 250. He’s a creative lead guard that protects with his off hand and finishes with flare with his right hand. Hall plays extremely well off the pick and roll, reading the defenders and taking what they give him. He has the look of a 3 level scorer.
Allen is a very talented guard. Chelsea has had a nice run of some very high quality guards and Allen seems to fit that bill just fine. He does a nice job controlling the feel of the game and playing it at his pace. Allen can create with his handles and is strong with the ball with both hands.
Highlights
Ignore the number next to his name because Brody Johnson Brody Johnson 6’5″ | SF Hartford | 2025 State MI has a chance to be a big time prospect. All the skill and upside is there. Johnson has great positional height and versatility. He’s a terrific shooter from behind the arc that can fire it up off the bounce as well as shoot it over top of his defender. Johnson could come away from this event with a lot of interest from college coaches.
