Vaughn is a name out of CC Elite that should turn heads this weekend with his ability to do all the dirty work. Whether it’s making a hustle play to take a charge or force a turnover and finish with a fast break layup, he’s a prospect that’s actively looking to make his presence felt on the floor. He’s a name out of Weddington High that I’m looking forward to seeing at this year’s showcase.
Jordan is a prospect that’s already made quite the name for himself out of the Garner Road Basketball Club fold as he begins his high school career. He’s a prospect that plays under control at the guard spot as a shooter and playmaker. He’s really turned things up a notch with his presence as a defender on the opposite end as he begins at South Garner High.
Montague is an intriguing guard prospect to keep an eye on given his fearlessness on the hardwood. He plays with a ton of confidence at the lead guard spot and already has an impressive range on the perimeter as a shooter at his age. He’s a name out of Cardinal Gibbons High that should turn heads with his play.
Sancho is a big guard prospect that’s set to get things started this season in the NCISAA ranks with Cannon School. He’s got a solid feel for the ball as a quick change of pace and does well to maneuver through defenses with his frame. He’s a guard that looks to put constant pressure on opponents with his ability to attack off the bounce. He’ll be a name that should turn heads given his prowess on the grassroots scene this past cycle.
Melville is another intriguing 2027 prospect with size to keep an eye on as he begins his high school career at Covenant Day School. He was a pivotal piece this past season on the UA scene with Team Curry this past season. He’s got a good feel in the painted area and high post with his ability to shoot and handle the ball. He’s a versatile presence that should impress with what he can do on the hardwood at this year’s showcase.
