Keonte Greybear
Keonte Greybear
Only a 2026, Keonte may already be one of the states top offensive threats. True PG with scoring potential not only off the bounce but extremely potent behind the arc as well. Keonte dropped a 40 point flurry using his speed and athleticism to attack the rim. Once the defense caught on and adjusted he was able to knock down several shots of the catch and pull up. His motor runs all game offensively and I don’t see many teams keeping him in check this season. He was 2nd team all district in tough Frisco division as a freshman and he is a lock for first team heading into his sophomore campaign.
Also just a 2026, David is non stop pressure for any defense I counted multiple 20-30 point games this month alone. I was 100% sure he was running back in football but NOPE. His speed and build allow him to outrun opponents or come off the dribble and finish through contact. His IQ is very high playing in the flow of the game, kicking out passes and getting his teammates open shots. His shot also catches fire often making him a nightmare 3 level threat. He’ll lead Grapevine High School after a strong summer campaign with Texas Summit.
Jaylon Brown Jaylon Brown 6'2" | CG Pace Academy | 2025 State TX
Jaylon Brown Jaylon Brown 6'2" | CG Pace Academy | 2025 State TX
Jaylon has been making waves with his ooo and ahhh style of play as a underclassman for some time now. High motor on both ends and will make any defender pay if you loose focus for just a second. Quick first step and his jump shot is much improved from last year. He’s matchup with some of the top ranked guards in the state and even outshined them on occasions. With his junior year in sight, look for him to have a breakout season as college interest and offers heat up.
Despite being under the radar. 4 star ranked Cameron Carroll Cameron Carroll 6’2″ | PG South Grand Prairie | 2025 State #238 Nation TX is VERY legit. Smooth ball handler and scorer who has his timing and pace mastered already. His IQ is notable and will transfer right in Division 1 college ball. He finished several plays through contact unbothered and can shoot the 3. He’s also can play without the ball in his hands making cuts, hitting gaps for shots which makes him even more dangerous this year. Look for Grand Prairie to be a state favorite this year under his lead.

Nicholas Addison Nicholas Addison 6'3" | SF Cedar Hill | 2024 TX
Not sure why Nicholas has been under the radar so long but he is set for a big season at Cedar Hill. Maybe the most athletic on this list his game gives me a D-Wade feel. Most dangerous in transition, he out runs everyone and is looking to dunk everything so don’t get caught with your guard down. His bounce off of two feet is amazing, he also absorbs contact like a sponge and finishes at high percentages with “And 1’s”
Quick note, Ja’cobe is now at Pace Academy where he’ll play a national schedule for the 23/24 season. He put on a show for the camera’s showing his pro bounce with acrobatics dunks in pregame. This also carried over into the game where he efficiently got the rim for tough layups, showed his improved pull up and lock down defense. Look for him to have a monster season jumping on several radar’s in his junior campaign.
Jeff Kirven
Jeff Kirven
Jeff is a long 6’3 with a wingspan of 6’5 or so. Smooth operator he’s mastered playing at his pace which allows him to always be in control of his defender. He finished several tough buckets, knocks down the midrange and a bonus was his shot blocking ability on defense. Look for him to have a breakout senior season.
2026 Te’Zhan is probably the most unique on this list. He’s one of those do it all type of players that might fly under your radar unless you really know your stuff. He’s been efficient this summer on the offensive end, mostly organizing and putting the ball in the right spot at the right time. His defense and anticipation for a steal is primetime, he’s everywhere all the time tipping and deflecting passes. At 6’3 he can also help out on the boards grabbing and preventing easy put backs. He’ll be a x factor for powerhouse Newman Smith who hopes to make a state run this year.
Highlights
Probably the most high profile on this list Desmeon is a complete pro on the court. He played along side G-League Ignite Dink Pate last year and is set to have a break out season offensively this year. His first step is quick quick, he’s also able to stop and start at will letting him use his floater and pull up jumper to operate in the paint. He’s a lockdown defender and his passing after drawing multiple defenders may be a little underrated. Can’t wait to cover him this season, he should be on everyone’s national radar.
Ryan Williamson
Ryan Williamson
Another long smooth guard. Ryan has been more then efficient beyond the arc in the preseason hitting 3/4 deep balls every game. Quick first step and can hang in the air to finish on multiple defenders. His handle is also smooth and his hands are active on defense which makes him a prospect you need to know for the upcoming season.
