Kenny Thompson Kenny Thompson 6'9" | PF Blair Academy | 2026 State NJ , 6’9 PF Blair Academy
Thompson is the highest ranked newcomer in the update and has the potential to have a big winter. The lanky 6’9 forward runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy layups and dunks in transition. Thompson has a nice touch around the basket and can hit jumpers in the mid-range. He is a solid rebounder and uses his length to influence shots around the basket. Thompson is a long forward prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor this season for the Buccaneers.
Tyrease Hunter Tyrease Hunter 6'3" | CG Roselle Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’1 CG Roselle Catholic
Hunter joins a talented 2026 Lions’ backcourt and should make an impact in his debut season. The 6’1 guard has a solid handle as he is able to get into the paint and finish around the basket. Hunter has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated passer. Hunter’s ability to score in the paint and on the perimeter is something that will help his stock in a big way this winter.
Eric Hillsman Eric Hillsman 6'7" | SF Roselle Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’7 SF Roselle Catholic
Hillsman is another talented prospect joining the Lions’ lineup and will put his game on display this winter. The lanky 6’7 wing attacks the rim strong as he elevates for dunks and is unafraid of drawing contact. Hillsman rises up over smaller defenders for jumpers and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer. Hillsman is a long, wing prospect who will be one to watch in North Jersey.
Gabe Moore Gabe Moore 6'0" | CG Life Center Academy | 2026 State NJ , 6’0 CG Life Center Academy
Moore is more comfortable playing off the ball, but has the potential to play on the ball as well. The 6’0 guard has a clean release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Moore is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. Moore’s shooting ability is something that will help his stock throughout the 2023-24 season.
Gunther Neumann, 6’2 PG Delbarton
Neumann is an intriguing prospect to watch in the class as he can impact the game in a number of ways. The 6’2 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get past his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Neumann is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He has the ability to play off the ball and is an underrated defender. Neumann is primed for a big 2023-24 season with his ability to score inside and out.
