We have evaluated these players in the fall prior to their freshman season at numerous camps, the high school season, the grassroots season, along with the June high school live periods. It is worth reminding that this is EXTREMELY early in the process. There will be players not on this list in the final top 10 and players in the top 10 that will end up significantly lower as they don’t develop. This is an initial feel for the class with our top 50 prospects.
These are the top 2026 point guards/combos stock risers in the state of Illinois!
Christopher Kirkpatrick Christopher Kirkpatrick 6'3" | PG New Trier | 2026 State IL (New Trier)
Overall Ranking: #23
This Chris Kirkpatrick isn’t the least known member of *NSYNC we are talking about. Rather this 6’2″ combo guard who lit up the nets when we saw New Trier in June and was the talk of the High Academic Showcase with his crisp handles, playmaking, finishing ability, and shooting.
Morgan Travis Morgan Travis 5'11" | PG De La Salle | 2026 State IL (De La Salle)
Overall Ranking: #35
Travis had a consistent month with the Meteors when we saw him during the June evaluation periods. On a team that is led by an array of rising seniors he stepped up and looked like he belonged scoring in bursts while also getting after it defensively.
Jayden Riley Jayden Riley 6'1" | PG Yorkville Christian | 2026 State IL (Oswego)
Overall Ranking: #36
Riley is an athletic guard who runs with M14 Adidas Gold. What we like most about his game is how well he runs a team and gets others involved with his passing. Has the innate ability to get his plethora of weapons open for scores. As a scorer it is his speed getting downhill with an improving jump shot game that caught our attention.
Champ Parker Champ Parker 6'0" | PG Rockford Auburn | 2026 State IL (Rockford Auburn)
Overall Ranking: #37
Parker was a big surprise to us back in May with the intensity he brought on both ends of the floor in a matchup where his FVV Elite team jumped out early on Team Rose . He controlled the game with his pace, shot making, and three level scoring ability.
