Danny stays at #1. He combines the ability to distribute or score the ball at a high level. Can get in and out of tight spaces with his ability to handle the ball. Excellent court vision and awareness. Has deep three ball range. Gets into the lane and is able to finish amongst the trees. Defends well and makes up quite possibly the best backcourt in the state.
Brandon jumps one spot to #2. Brandon is a big wing. Strong but quick and has a good handle in traffic or the open floor. First time we saw him he was playing mostly 12 feet and in he has now expanded his overall game making him a threat to score from multiple spots on the floor. Uses his body really well to clear space and rebound the ball on both ends. A rising talent who gets better every time we see him.
Kiyan moves up one spot as well. He is a multi faceted player. Does everything at a high level. Fundamentally sound sees the game really well. Extremely poised on the floor. As his body has matured and his great work ethic he is able to get into the lane and finish through contact. Very good at scoring in tight spaces. Quick release on his jumper off the catch. Very smooth fundamentally sound shooter. Repeatable fluid motion with good rotation out of his hand.
A true point guard. Outstanding shooter from three. Excellent ball handler, runs the show with poise and confidence. Gets in the lane and scores or finds teammates. Can zip the pass or finesse it in tight space. Can score the ball in a variety of ways. One of my favorite players in the city to watch with tremendous talent and great instincts and a feel for the game. Has D1 interest and more schools need to get involved on this smooth point guard.
(Pictured) Tough strong guard. Attacks the rim with a purpose. Can shoot it from three consistently. Able to create for himself with his elusive handle. Has displayed a nice step back or side step three. Excellent in transition. Outstanding defender on the ball. Moves his hands and has very quick feet.
