Steve Donahue Steve Donahue 6'4" | SG Montgomery | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 SG Montgomery
Donahue moved up more than any other prospect in the class as he moved up 75 spots. The 6’4 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can hot from distance in a hurry. Donahue is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and is an underrated defender. Donahue’s stock is on the rise and has the potential to rise even higher with his play in the winter.
Max Neirenberg Max Neirenberg 6'5" | SF Ramsey | 2024 State NJ , 6’5 SF Ramsey
Neirenberg had a strong summer, which resulted in him moving up 40 spots in the update. The 6’5 wing has a good handle as he can beat his defender off the bounce and finish through contact. Neirenberg is more than just a slasher as he has a high release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He is comfortable pushing the ball on the break and is an underrated passer. Neirenberg’s versatility is something that will help his game in a big way throughout the season.
Tre Powell Tre Powell 6'0" | SG Medford Tech | 2024 State NJ , 6’0 SG Medford Tech
Powell went up 37 spots in the rankings and has the opportunity to move even higher. The 6’0 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the basket. Powell has a nice touch in the mid-range and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He gets his teammates involved in the halfcourt and can get deflections on the defensive end. Powell is a scoring guard prospect whose ability to run the offense will help his stock over the next couple of months.
Michaelangelo Oberti Michaelangelo Oberti 6'10" | C Morris Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’10 C Morris Catholic
Oberti moved up 29 spots in the update and is a post prospect to watch in North Jersey. The 6’10 post has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim from the perimeter. Oberti finishes strong around the basket and is able to knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and influences shots around the basket. Oberti is a talented post prospect who should put his game on display throughout the season.
Tye Dorset Tye Dorset 6'3" | SG Lenape | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Lenape
Dorset also moved up 29 spots in the update as he can influence the game in a number of ways. The 6’3 guard uses his size to see over his defender as he is able to get to his spot on the floor and finish around the basket. Dorset rises up nicely on his jumper and moves well without the ball in his hands. He can defend both backcourt spots and is a strong rebounder for a guard. Dorset’s ability to play on and off the ball is something that makes him an intriguing prospect to watch in the 2024 class.
