Blake Betton Blake Betton 6'2" | SG Shakopee | 2027 State MN of Shakopee (PJ Hoops). When it comes to prospects that I think have a big future Blake was near the top of the list. At 6’3 the touch is there but he also attacked to finish and scored some active buckets. Loved how the lefty confidently stepped into his shot with his length and buried a high percentage of his attempts. Shakopee, a land of skilled and productive wings in bulk. Blake is next up and he should be one of the better prospects that we have seen there too.
Ray Brau Ray Brau 6'7" | PF Hibbing | 2027 State MN of Hibbing ( Starks Elite ). Ray was one of the most dominating performers at the event. His constant double-double numbers on the glass were there because of size, effort, and Ray moves well in that big frame to get to spots to produce. Easily one of the most productive players at the event.
Isaac Feller Isaac Feller 6'0" | PG Bloomington Jefferson | 2027 State MN of Bloomington Jefferson (Team Tyus). One of the most productive players I saw all day was Feller. The 6’0 lefty shot the ball well but also used skill to get to the rim and his feel once he got to the paint was better than most. Read the defense well to finish. Great day for Feller.
Coby Hammell of Caledona (Minnesota Lightning). Hammell has the look of an athletic wing that I have to imagine will play football early for the Warriors as an end, receiver, or other fast position with some size. On the court Coby just moved better than others at his size and his strength and body control allowed him to constantly produce.
Colton Purcell Colton Purcell 6'2" | SF Annandale | 2027 State MN of Annandale (Minnesota Rush). Definitely a player that I felt had a great showcase start to finish. He did things pushing the ball to finish or make the right read, as a wing he shot it well and attacked to finish as well as most, and battled around the basket using his size and strength edge to outwork others. Quality, versatile prospect.
Anton Williams of Cretin-Derham Hall (Team Tyus). Williams had the ball pretty much the entire game I watched as his teammates sought him out to handle, to attack, and to try and get deep into the defense. Just bigger, faster and strong than most on the floor.
Simon Winkels of Duluth East (East Elite). Simon was one of my favorite competitors from Sunday. Few guys moved defensively like Simon did to get hands on balls for steals and deflections. Switched over several times to end hopes of smaller players as the 6’4 forward was a strong way producer.
