In this new series of articles, I will be showcasing each conference and predicting who could possibly win the MVP for the conference and see who could make each of the all conference teams in each one. This article will be about the 2A/3A Olympic Conference MVP and first team selections.

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1450488' first='Cade' last='Orness'] (2024) & [player_tooltip player_id='1450502' first='Harry' last='Davies'] (2024) - North Kitsap HS

For this league picking the MVP was a bit difficult but as both of these are very much deserving. As both received CO-MVP honors last season, I believe the same thing will happen once again. Both guards play off each other very well and are a tough back-court to match-up against. Both handle the ball at a very high level and both are able to facilitate the offense smoothly.

Other MVP candidates: [player_tooltip player_id='1450564' first='Parker' last='Nickerson'] c/o 2024 - Port Angeles HS

First Team Predictions:

[player_tooltip player_id='1450488' first='Cade' last='Orness'] (2024) - North Kitsap HS - Cade is a great natural scorer and has a big 6'5" frame that allows him to play multiple positions on the court. He runs the point guard very well but can also play off the ball from the wing very effectively. Orness has been expanding his game and elevating it so he can play at the next level, which he will be doing after this upcoming season. He scores at all 3 levels at a very high level and should see his game translate smoothly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450502' first='Harry' last='Davies'] (2024) - North Kitsap HS - Harry plays with a ton of energy every single time he steps on the field. He is a huge team player and always will put his teammates above himself, playing very unselfishly. He scores the ball at a very high rate, being able to attack the bucket or hit mid-range/deep shots. He plays some of the bets defense within the conference, working hard on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450564' first='Parker' last='Nickerson'] (2024) - Port Angeles HS - Parker is a player who took a big step on the court last season, expanding his game in many ways. He had great court vision, finding his teammates when they are open. He's a top scorer within the state, averaging 25+ points per game. He rebounds the ball well, being aggressive on the glass and in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450938' first='Sam' last='Nylund'] (2024) - Bainbridge HS - Sam was named first team all league last year after he had a very productive season for Bainbridge. He does it all on the court, being versatile and stretching the floor smoothly. He has high level defensive play, averaging almost 3 steals per game last season. He was productive on the offensive side, averaging nearly 16 points a game and grabbed nearly 7 rebounds as well, staying active down in the paint.

Isaiah Slamp (2024) - Poert Angeles HS - Isaiah compliments Parker well as both mesh together to run the offense smoothly. Slamp was also named first team all league last year after his solid junior year. He averaged about 15 points per game and brought down nearly 7 rebounds per game. I haven't seen much of Slamp's game but he is definitely a player who could be first team all league once again.
