Michele Clark | 2027
IL
– Michelle Clark 6’3
Carpenter is a long and athletic lefty guard who gets after it on both ends of the court. Lamari is tough when getting to the rim. He can maneuver his body through defenders off the dribble but also can elevate with body control and score around rim protectors. Another aspect of his game that can’t go unnoticed is his willingness to move the ball. On defense Carpenter uses his length to disrupt passes in the passing lanes but also to change shot patterns when he makes hard close outs.
Dereon Smothers 6’1 undecided
Smothers had some amazing moments in his last game of the event. He’s a smooth slick handling guard that gets to the cup with tight crossovers. Dereon had some moments hitting defenders with moves and blowing past them for easy buckets. If guys sat back he knocked down threes on them for not guarding him closer. Smothers has a demeanor you like to see because with all of his flair and activity he looks as if he’s supposed to play like that every time.
Ben Gillmar

Wheaton North | 2027

– Wheaton North 6’4
Ben is another fundamentally sound player who looks to have some versatile attributes in his game. A workhorse player who has some handle capabilities but is more of a straight lined driver right now. Gillmar is a strong rebounder who gets out fast on the break and is able to finish well through contact. As his shot improves look to hear much more from Ben the next couple of years.
Nicholas kegel – Hinsdale Central 6’5
Nicholas was a workhorse forward that was relentless on the boards. He scored a lot of his points from missed shots. Schubkegel has good hands around the rim and can become a threat in pick and roll sets. Another aspect of his game I like was his ability to switch off to small guards and be able to keep them in front of him.
Kristopher Mporokoso

IL
– Waubonsie Valley 6’3
Kris is a shifty wing player who can score with either hand when getting in the lane. He shoots is pretty well from three as a lefty. He can affect the game more using his length especially on defense. With his physical attributes Mporokoso can become a solid rebounder with the skill set to push it in transition. A bright future ahead for this prospect.
Caden Williams

Schaumburg | 2027
IL
– Schaumburg 6’0
Williams was terrific in the game I watched. Consistently he got out and ran the wings well and seemed to always be in a position to score. In half court sets Caden drove to the basket hard with straight-lined moves to either score layups or get fouled in the process.
