Price was a late addition to the squad and made a big impact. The strong guard rebounded well for his position and even blocked a couple shots. One of the more physically mature guards in attendance, Price looks like a guy who will play a big role for Toledo St John’s in the near future.
Austin Brown
Austin Brown
Brown was a quick guard who had a jelly layup and defended with high pressure. Undersized right now, Brown played with a lot of heart and competed on both ends.
What I liked most about Reece’s game was his unselfishness. A couple times Reece got the rebound underneath his own basket and quickly tossed it ahead to teammates further down the court which led to easy layups. His passes helped his team score the ball in a hurry and beat the defense to the opposite end of the court.

Blust was one of the top shooters in the event and was making it rain from downtown. When the ball found him on the perimeter, Blust was usually cashing it from 3-point range. Knew his role as a 3-point specialist and didn’t try and do more than what he was capable of. Defensively he also competed and overall helped his team win.

Team 4 was the only team I saw running a full court press successfully and Tolliver was a key reason for that. His long arms helped his team get steals and he made the pass to the open man when he got the ball. Easy shots came for almost every member of team 4 and when Tolliver got the easy looks, he converted. Tolliver also took the ball coast to coast after a few rebounds, showing his ability to take it himself.

Miami East has gotten a lot of attention due to their 2024 duo, but Rohrer shows there’s more talent coming through their program. Rohrer showed good floor vision to make the right pass and got steals in the full court press. Capable of making the perimeter shot, Rohrer started to use the pump fake to gain an advantage on the defense. A name to watch as he could provide a spark to a Miami East team looking to get over the hump and make it to Dayton for the final four this season.
Jack Kecherski
Jack Kecherski
A strong multi-sport athlete who showed off his size and strength at the camp, it’s no surprise after watching Kacherski on the basketball court that he’s also a football and track athlete. Kacherski could attack off the bounce with either hand and while he looked primarily to pass the ball, when he took shots he was efficient from the field. Look for Kacherski to be making an impact every season for Dublin Jerome in a variety of sports.
Jayden NellemsBey
Jayden NellemsBey
Lutheran East brought the most prospects to this event and the Falcons were hungry to prove their talent against statewide compeition. NellemsBey hit shots on the perimeter as a wing with impressive burst to get past the first defender. A big-time scorer, NellemsBey was scoring both at the rim and beyond the 3-point line. A name to watch in northeast Ohio in the future.

Another wing on this team who could attack the rim, I was impressed by Reisinger’s ability to finish with the left hand. Also displaying a good pace to his game in the half court and the ability to hit shots off the bounce, Reisinger looks like a prospect who will get some varsity action as a freshman for Indian Lake.

The final prospect on the team was the tallest and unsurprisingly, Usrey was commanding the paint on both ends by grabbing rebounds. Usrey was also able to stretch the defense with a couple baseline shots including a corner 3-pointer. Overall, this team played excellent basketball and got contributions from everybody on the roster.
