Allen chose to commit to the Southeastern Conference and the Missouri Tigers where he is the second commit in the Class of 2024, as he joins four-star point guard T.O Barrett from Link Academy.
Allen chose the Tigers over Arkansas, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State and Stanford. Allen held over 20 D-1 offers throughout the recruitment process.
Allen is a hard-nosed two-way player who brings elite defense to match up with his offense every time he steps out onto the floor. He can defend against guards and against bigs at a high level where he brings his length and ability to move around the perimeter.
Allen is also an above-average rebounder to create extra possessions and can finish efficiently around the rim. Offensively, Allen plays with a ton of physicality who can pull up from the mid-range and shoot from the perimeter on occasion.
During the EYBL Circuit, Allen played for the Florida Rebels where he averaged 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and nearly a block per game.
