I will be posting evaluations based on what I observed from every team that participated in the DMV Freshman Showcase. Here is a look at those who played on Team 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='1987443' first='Jaden' last='Amoah'] | Colgan (VA)

Amoah is a 5'8" guard who is effective at pushing the ball up the court in transition. He sees the court well and won't hesitate to hit an open teammate.

Jonathan Bell | Gar-Field (VA)

Bell is a 6'1" guard who is a jack-of-all-trades. He's an unselfish player who likes to get others involved and sets the tone with aggressive defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353592' first='Noah' last='Cerny'] | St. Mary's Annapolis (MD)

Cerny is a 6'4" wing with a nice touch on his shot. He is shot-ready upon the catch. Cerny can shoot from the perimeter but also plays off two feet and can score inside the arc as well.

Jasiah King | Martinsburg (WV)

King was making good things happen on both ends of the court throughout the entire day for his team. He's a slasher who is comfortable finishing in traffic. King also excelled as a playmaker who looked to regularly get others involved.

J'Lon Lyons | Clinton Grace (MD)

Lyons has as smooth of a jumper as I saw in the gym at the showcase. He has a particularly smooth mid-range pull-up jumper. Lyons was also very unselfish and did not hesitate to get others involved.

Brayden Porter | Huntingtown (MD)

Brayden Porter is a 5'9" guard who I saw hit a jumper from the short corner. On that play, he did a good job moving without the ball to find the open space in the defense.

James Westervelt | John Carroll (MD)

Versatility is one of Westervelt's main selling points. He impacts the game on multiple fronts. Westervelt will help you win the rebounding battle, play solid defense, and keep a high field goal percentage.

[player_tooltip player_id='2898014' first='Dylan' last='Williams'] | Heritage (VA)

Williams is a nice all-around guard prospect with an impressive skill base. One of the things I like most about his game is his willingness to seek contact on his drives. Williams is also a reliable playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id='2139439' first='Brandon' last='Woodard'] | Lanham Christian (MD)

Woodard was in contention for most dunks at the event. The athletic 6'8" forward looked to rip down the rim whenever given the opportunity. Woodard is a bonafide lob threat who specializes as a finisher but showed confidence in his long-range shot-making ability as well.
