SPRINGFIELD, VA -- Here are my picks for the Second Team All-DMV Freshman Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353657' first='Kaylen' last='Chilton'] | WT Woodson (VA)

It felt odd putting Chilton on the second team, but that speaks to the level of talent that was on display at the showcase. Nevertheless expect the Cavs guard to be considered among the top freshmen in the state come this winter. Chilton made the game look quite easy while making impact plays regularly at both ends of the court.

Quimar Crittenden | Churchland (VA)

Crittenden shoots the ball with his left hand but converted several right-handed finishes in the lane. Evidently, he is ambidextrous, which is rare. On top of that, Crittenden is a nice all-around guard prospect who can impact winning as a scorer or a playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353649' first='Ethan' last='Evans'] | Evergreen Christian (VA)

Evans brings plenty of versatility and toughness to the table at 6'2". He sets smart, solid screens, exploits mismatches with his size, and is a knockdown shooter with a quick release.

J'Lon Lyons | Clinton Grace (MD)

Lyons established himself as one of the better shooters in the gym throughout Sunday's event. He plays an efficient brand of basketball, gets others involved, and has a pure shooting stroke.

[player_tooltip player_id='2898014' first='Dylan' last='Williams'] | Heritage (VA)

Williams is a skilled guard who likes to get downhill with the ball. He seeks contact on his drives, is comfortable finishing with his off-hand, and is a very good facilitator. Williams is also a menace on the defensive end.
