Discovery vs. Charlotte @ 4:30 p.m.
Spartans: 2022 (14-13)
Willie Wilson Willie Wilson 6'3" | PG Discovery | 2024 State FL | G | Discovery | Class of 2024 | @WWilson3_6
2022 stats: 17.0 ppg | 5.0 rebounds | 3.0 assists | 3.0 steals
Wilson will look to lead a rebounding Spartan squad that lost some firepower on the offensive end as senior Angel Canuelas has moved on to the next level. Wilson is a solid scorer himself and can contribute in various categories.
Charlotte: 2022 (16-14)
Jordan Attia Jordan Attia 5'11" | PG Charlotte | 2025 FL | PG | Class of 2025 | Charlotte | @J_attia11
Attia has a decent three-range jumper which he uses to give opposing defenses problems. He also is smart enough to use head fakes and ISO moves when defenders begin closing out hard because of the shot-making. Attia is a decent point guard product trending up this off-season.
2022 stats: 5.6 ppg | 1.5 rebounds | 1.6 assists
Bartow vs. Lake Highland Prep @ 7:00 p.m.
LHP: 2022 (16-12)
Julian Clarke Julian Clarke 6'0" | SG Lake Highland Prep | 2024 State FL | PG | Class of 2024 | LHP | @Jxclarke_
2022 stats: 14.2 ppg | 4.7 rebounds | 1.8 assists
The recent UNC-Asheville commit will make his way to Polk County to put on a show. He recorded solid numbers during his junior season but has the tool to turn things up a notch. The 6’1 point guard prospect has a reliable jumper behind the arc and can score consistently around the rim.
Carver Recreation Center
The Villages Charter vs. Viera @ 11:30 a.m.
Buffalo:
Christopher Washington Jr. Christopher Washington Jr. 6'7" | SF The Villages | 2026 State FL | F | Class of 2026 | VHS | @cwashington33
2022 stats: 10.7 ppg | 5.3 rebounds
The 6-7 rising sophomore is a bad man on the court who already has accumulated big-time D1 offers from various programs. He’s a longer-framed prospect who can shoot the rock or use his handles to get near the paint for easy floaters. Washington is dangerous in the transition and will be one of the premier 2026 recruits.
Don’t sleep:
Ben Koubek Ben Koubek 6'2" | PG The Villages | 2024 FL | SG | Class of 2024 | VHS | @BenKoubek13
2022 stats: 8.8 ppg | 3.1 rebounds | 3.7 assists
A deadly sniper behind the arc who opposing defenses need to have circled on the scouting report.
Brisun Hammermeister Brisun Hammermeister 6'7" | SG The Villages | 2026 State FL | CG | Class of 2026 | VHS | @BrisunHammer
2022 stats: 11.1 ppg | 4.1 rebounds
*Future 6-7 playmaking star for VHS, eager to see how he performs this weekend.
Lake Region vs. Tampa Catholic @ 12:45 p.m.
Crusaders: 2022 (19-11)
Karter Knox Karter Knox 6'6" | SG Tampa Catholic | 2024 #6 Nation GA | CG | Class of 2024 | Tampa Catholic | @thekarterknox
*One of the more explosive athletes on the list who plays well above his grade level. The 6’6 combo guard is averaging 21.6 points per game for Tampa Catholic. Knox is the younger brother of former Kentucky Wildcat and current Detroit Piston, Kevin Knox. He plays with similar tenacity and determination to develop his skills. Knox is a gifted scorer who can finish tough baskets at the rim and use his jumper when needed. He holds a Top 8 from Louisville, Kentucky, FSU, NBA G-League, and more.
Auburndale vs. The Villages @ 2:00 p.m.
Bloodhounds: 2022 (21-9)
Carter Cuff | G | Class of 2024 | Auburndale | @carter4cuff
2022 stats: 8.0 ppg | 3.1 rebounds
Cuff will look to lead the Bloodhounds following a successful 2022 season that saw two seniors (Kervin Knaggs & Nehemiah Turner) have solid years, earning the 5A District 7 District Championship. Excited to see how Auburndale bounces back and what new leaders emerge.
Sunday, Aug. 27 @ Bartow High
SFC vs. Tampa Catholic
Hawks: 2022 (17-12)
*2022 stats: 13.2 ppg | 3.3 assists | 1.5 steals
Offers: North Florida, Le Moyne College, Youngstown State
I’ve mentioned this now a few times, but Tate Darner Tate Darner 6'0" | SG Santa Fe Catholic | 2025 State FL is the top sharpshooter in Polk County who has found his game heading into his junior season. Remember first getting eyes on him last season and to watch how quickly he’s developed is noteworthy. Has been one of the hottest names in the summer camp period because of his high-scoring output and deadly shooting abilities on prime display. Picked up a recent offer but should start hearing from schools in Florida with more exposure.
Tampa Catholic:
Don’t sleep:
Isaiah Campbell-Finch Isaiah Campbell-Finch 6'1" | PG Tampa Catholic | 2025 State #361 Nation FL | G | Class of 2025 | Tampa Catholic | @Isaiah_CFinch
2022 stats: 12.8 ppg | 2.9 rebounds | 4.5 assists
Another rising guard for the Crusaders who can be effective with good ball handling and tough finishes around the rim. Has seen his recruitment take off this offseason as he is set for a big-time junior campaign.
Tampa Catholic vs. Wiregrass Ranch @ 11:30 a.m.
Bulls: 2022 (15-12)
Kristian Smith | G | Class of 2025 | Wiregrass Ranch | @thekjsmith
2022 stats: 14.0 ppg | 5.0 rebounds | 3.6 assists | 2.3 steals
Smith had a solid sophomore season for the Bulls as he led the team in points per game and steals. That shows college coaches that he can be a reliable offensive threat while providing defense prowess for the guard position. Can get active on the boards and also keeps his eyes up to get teammates going.
Don’t sleep:
Preston Linville | G | Class of 2024 | Wiregrass Ranch | @PrestonLinvill0
2022 stats: 13.0 ppg | 6.0 rebounds | 2.0 assists
A good framed prospect standing at 6-foot-4 with a developing overall game and can light it up behind the arc.

Jacob Daniels Jacob Daniels 5'9" | PG Gibbs | 2025 State FL | G | Class of 2025 | Gibbs
2022 stats: 16.8 ppg | 4.0 rebounds | 3.7 assists | 2.7 steals
Don’t sleep:
O’Neal Delancy | G | Class of 2027 | Gibbs | @0neal_Delancy
If there was one combo guard that could potentially play Division I ball from his performance today, that would be Oneal Delancy Oneal Delancy 6'3" | CG Gibbs | 2027 State FL . He made a few heads turn in the crowd after the young man showed off his bag of skills at the Freshman Showcase. His dribbling handles and body control are above average for his class, and his confidence to take and make tough perimeter shots was evident. Delancy is a consistent shooter who can hit from midrange or create space to finish at the rim. He’s a baller who will be a potential star prospect for Gibbs High.
Mathis Roberts Mathis Roberts 6'2" | CG Gibbs | 2025 FL | CG | Class of 2025 | Gibbs | @Mrob_4
2022 stats: 7.4 ppg | 3.6 rebounds
