The limited scrimmages on Wednesday and Thursday night were filled with high level head-to-head matchups. Here are our takeaways on the prospects we saw in the western region of the U.S.
Alijah Arenas Alijah Arenas 6'5" | CG Chatsworth | 2026 State CA-S , 2026, Chatsworth/Compton Magic
The smooth-scoring combo guard flashed the shot-making and scoring acumen that landed him on the national radar but also proved he can play a lead guard role as he utilized ball screens to get paint touches and set up teammates for open shots.
Anthony Felesi Anthony Felesi 6'6" | CG Utah Prep | 2026 State UT , 2026, Orem (UT)/ Utah Prospects
Felesi shot the ball well from three-point range. His willingness to play and move without the ball was beneficial to his team and his efficiency as he allowed the game to come to him which resulted in open shots. Felesi’s smooth off the bounce game and size for the shooting guard position at 6-feet-5 make him an intriguing prospect to track.
Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT , 2024, Corner Canyon (UT)/ Utah Prospects
Kozlowski had a big spring and summer on both the club and high school levels, resulting in a major uptick in offers and overall recruitment. The 6-foot-6 face-up four man brought his usual hard-hat approach to both ends of the floor and knocked down catch-and-shoot threes when they came his way.
Eric Freeny Eric Freeny 6'5" | SG Corona Centennial | 2024 State #73 Nation CA-S , 2024, Corona Centennial/Compton Magic
Freeny’s game doesn’t always translate to the “camp” setting because he’s best in structure and playing to a role. Despite that the 6-foot-4 UCLA-commit did a little bit of everything as those out west are used to seeing out of him. Freeny rebounded and defended at a high level, finished with physicality in the lane and made a handful of threes off the catch.
Isiah Harwell Isiah Harwell 6'5" | CG Wasatch Academy | 2025 State #7 Nation UT , 2025, Wasatch Academy (UT), Utah Prospects
One of the country’s top 2025 prospects showed flashes as to why he’s that highly thought of. The 6-foot-5 combo guard has great positional size and a frame to match. He uses his combination of strength and athleticism to take advantage of mismatches in the post and acts as a primary playmaker out of that spot on the floor. Harwell has the skill-set to play both on and off the ball.
Jasir Rencher Jasir Rencher 6'6" | SF Archbishop Riordan | 2025 State #77 Nation CA-N , 2025, Archbishop Riordan/Team Lillard
Rencher isn’t as nationally recognizable as some of the other players in this camp but he is beginning to open up some eyes. At 6-feet-5 with impressive length and athleticism, the Northern California-based prospect thrived in transition where he was able to use his speed, length and explosiveness to fill the lane and elevate and finish at the rim. Rencher has all the tools to be a great on-ball defender at the next level.
JJ Mandaquit JJ Mandaquit 6'2" | PG Utah Prep | 2025 State #45 Nation UT , 2025, Utah Prep/ Utah Prospects
Mandaquit was the essence of a true point guard who picked his scoring spots well. The 6-foot-1 rising junior showed he could command the position and control the pace of a game even in a setting that normally leans toward a free-flowing tempo. Mandaquit is a high IQ ball screen operator who is patient when setting up his defender and gets in the lane with the thought of finding an open teammate but can also stop and pop the mid-range jumper.
Kellen Hampton Kellen Hampton 6'7" | SF Southern California Academy | 2025 #120 Nation CA-S , 2025, Southern California Academy, Team Lillard
Hampton took advantage of the fact that people kept leaving him open on the perimeter. The 6-foot-7 wing is a lethal three-point shooting threat, especially when his feet are set and he has time and space to get his shot off. Hampton possesses a strong base, no wasted motion in his mechanics and an unconscious approach to his three-ball.
Zoom Diallo Zoom Diallo 6'4" | PG Prolific Prep (CA) | 2024 #19 Nation CA-N , 2024, Prolific Prep, Beauchamp Elite
Diallo is considered among the top point guard prospects in the country regardless of class and there are some things he does that few others can do. The 6-foot-4 rising senior has the obvious size, athleticism and physical gifts that you look for in a next level prospect but he’s also a high IQ playmaker and pinpoint passer when he chooses to be. Offensively, Diallo has elite playmaking instincts and finishes well through contact.
