The new academic year is right around the corner as Labor Day Weekend is coming up. The 2025 class has the potential to make an impact this season, especially players who play two sports. Here are the 2025 dual-sport athletes who could have big winters.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411628' first='Jahmir' last='Joseph'], 5'11 PG St. Joseph (Mont.)

Joseph's collegiate career lies on the gridiron, but he also makes plays on the hardwood. The 5'11 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to the rim and finish. Joseph can also score in the mid-range and does not mind drawing contact in the paint. He is a strong rebounder for a guard his size and slides his feet on defense. Joseph is a gritty guard prospect who should put up big numbers this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1775123' first='Nalim' last='Parrish'], 5'11 CG Bergen Catholic

Parrish stars on the gridiron for the Crusaders and should make an impact for them on the court as well. The 5'11 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Parrish moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. The ball doesn't stick in his hands and makes it tough for his man to get to his spot on the floor. Parrish's ability to play on and off the ball is something that will help his stock throughout the winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1949268' first='Jayden' last='Elijah'], 6'7 C Matawan

Elijah had a strong sophomore season for the Huskies and is looking to carry it over into 2023-24. The 6'7 post uses his body to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Elijah routinely draws contact down low and sets good screens in the half court. He is a force on the glass at both ends of the floor and uses his size to influence shots around the basket. Elijah is a double-double machine who should be a force throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1949287' first='Kenny' last='Smith'], 5'11 CG Hammonton

Smith started his junior campaign off with a bang as he recorded over 200 total yards and five touchdowns in the Blue Devils' season opener and is looking to duplicate his success on the hardwood. The 5'11 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the rim. Smith uses his body well as he is able to finish through contact and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He is an underrated passer and makes plays on the defensive end. Smith is a speedy guard prospect who will be one to watch in South Jersey in 2023-24.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919194' first='Ryan' last='Prior'], 6'4 SF Red Bank Catholic

Prior did a little bit of everything for the Caseys last season and should do it again in his junior season. The Virginia baseball commit has a smooth release on his jumper and shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc. Prior moves well without the ball in his hands and has an underrated handle. He is a solid passer and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Prior is a sharpshooting wing prospect who should torch the nets this season for Red Bank Catholic.
