Watson just bring the word steady to the table every night he plays for the Iron Horses or the Raptors. Robert can play multiple positions in the backcourt and really be a bit of a nuisance at times.
Watson picked up an offer this summer from South Carolina State University for his play. He really looks to be a stat-sheet stuffer night in and night out with his play.
Sweet has good shooting mechanics to receive the ball in the pocket while be shot ready. Nick will use the pull-up jumper in transition when he’s not making the 3-ball from deep.
Sweet plays the game very unselfish and really brings the whole team concept to the front of the table. He can direct traffic at times from out top or simply knockdown open shots when needed. Nick and the Patriots could surprise some folks in the Upstate this coming season.
Mauldin made good progress this summer on the Grassroots Circuit with the Charleston Raptors. The left-handed Mauldin understands where to be on the floor to make a play. Clyde plays the game with a good mindset and always seems to be quite productive with his shot selection.
Mauldin who has very strong academics is back for the Cyclones to make a run in SCISA Class 4A this season. Clyde seems to still be growing into his frame and plays the game with some sneaky athleticism at times.
Lea made a lasting impression last fall at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. Happy who also is a Track and Field athlete just brings production to the table. He won’t overwhelm you with anything he does but he brings good results.
He finishes around the paint while having a good nose for the ball. Happy brings the ability to be vocal on the floor and remain in constant communication with his teammates. Lea is a player you find to give minutes to in a game because he brings production to the table.
Highlights
Bobbitt had a good summer playing with Horry Select on the Grassroots Circuit. Carter originally from New Jersey was a nice addition to the Sharks Class 5A roster last season at St James HS.
Carter can extend the defense with his ability to knockdown shots out on the perimeter or simply finish around the rim. Bobbitt will pop off screens for open looks. He’s a very deceptive athlete on the floor.
