There’s another 36 on the watch list who we’ll see during the season. Then there’s new prospects we haven’t seen at all that we hope to get a look at. Here’s more new additions to the 2026 class.
He’s a good size guard with a versatile skill set and good athleticism. He has a good shot from beyond the arc. He has good ball handling skills. He does well in transition running and finishing at the rim. At 6’3 he gets a lot of stuff done around the rim rebounding and defending bigs on his HS team. He has the foot speed to defend on the perimeter.
Hunter should receive significantly more playing time in the Cardinals line up. He should be starter this season after coming off the bench for a 22-8 team that had went 9-1 in league play. He’s an athletic wing at 6’3, he has a solid body and jumps well. He’ll get rebounds, and score in the paint with strong finishes around the rim. He can handle the ball away from the basket. He has strong drives along the base line.
Highlights
He’s a superb ball handling point guard with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He has quickness to attack from the top and other angles. He has a nice off the dribble jump shot. He has vision and sees the floor to find shooters, cutters, and feed the post. He’s hard to shake when pressuring the ball handler. He’ll be a contributor on the Varsity.
He’s a solid body at 6’3 playing at a small school in the City. He works well around the basket using his body and muscle to score points at the 15U level. He’s good on the boards and has decent foot work. We’ll have to see if he expands his perimeter game going forward. He does have good movement on the court, and can use a dribble or two on the drive.
Ladines has good ball handling skills, he has quickness to beat his man off the dribble, toughness to challenge bigs in the paint, he gets the ball high up on the glass, he’ll finish with floaters and paint jumpers. He has good speed pushing the ball in transition. He had a good Spring and Summer playing 15U. He could be ready to challenge for a starting spot on the varsity.
He played Varsity at the small school in the City his Freshman season. He played up an age 16U on a good club team. He’s a good all around guard with a good shot from mid-range out to the 3pt line. He handles well in transition and can run the point, he gets to his spots. He gives a good effort on the defensive side of the ball. He’s a feisty prospect.
He’s a long point guard still sharpening his skills for the position. He has speed in transition, vision to make passes up and around the perimeter, he’s a willing passer. He has some quickness with the dribble finding his way into the paint, using length, he’ll have to finish though. He’s lengthy with foot speed, and hands. He can be a good defender He’ll have to bulk up and tighten his handles.
He’s a quality guard with a good floor game. He has good foot speed, he handles well in transition, passes it up. He works well along the perimeter, finding cutters, and shooters with good passing. He’s ready to knock down 3’s in the corner on the catch. He can drive it into the paint from different angles using body control to avoid charges.
