These teams are really bringing it and the players are playing a bit gassed but we are seeing some high quality ball from the major shoe circuit programs. Here are some standouts out here in Memphis, Tennessee.
Christian was enforcing the paint and just using that high level skill to displace anyone in the paint on both sides of the ball. Not only is he built at 6’10 but he moves so well for a big fella. He went off for 20+ and racked up 15+ rebounds as he was just a dominant force. He is a player that is going to demand a double team every time he touches the ball, the problem is that he sees the floor so well that he can pick apart a team with that good passing and vision. He has this old school feel to him as he just works and pump fakes or he will power through you with those two hand finishes, he was scoring fro the free-throw-line as well.
What an absolute leader on the floor. JJ has the ability to run a team and make those around him better. He showcased some shooting and elite ball handling as he sells a lot of calls when he attacks but that high level playing ability is undeniable. The reads that he makes are next level and when you put shooters around him he can really shine as defenders can’t help and then he can do his thing going off of screen end or simple blow-byes. He had a great Day 1.
Talk about an athlete that can jump out of the gym. He challenged one of the best shot blockers one of the best shot blockers in the 2025 3SSB and he hammered one home that really took the lid off of the gym. His attack moves and active play off the ball really makes him tough to coral. He is an impressive athlete with a high ceiling.
One of the most impressive kids out there Day 1 and it was not because he looks the part but it is because he doesn’t. He has quickness and a burst that is next level. He can create space to pass, to shoot and to get in the lane. He shoots the ball well enough that you have to be aware of it so he is just going to keep defenders busy as they chase him and try to keep him in front. Ball handling was elite and fit in well with the schemes he is running and the sets they run as a team.
This kid is a do it all Swiss Army Knife. With impressive size and skills to go with you get up in your seat to watch what this kid can do. The athleticism, length and bounce are there and he can stretch the floor with his shooting. He can take you off the dribble. You can see why he is the #1 player Texas and that is saying something. He also has a boat load of offers. This kid is legit.
