Bishop Boswell Bishop Boswell 6’4″ | PG Myers Park | 2024 State #68 Nation NC continues to grow as a high-major prospect in the 2024 class in North Carolina. SEC schools have really taken notice of Boswell’s prowess in the backcourt as LSU, Tennessee, South Carolina and Missouri have offered him as have VCU and Penn State. He’s a prospect that had a strong finish on the EYBL stage at Peach Jam with Team CP3 alongside a pair of ACC commits. He’s certainly another high-major prospect to keep an eye on in the class as he approaches his final season at Myers Park High.
Lewis Walker Lewis Walker 6’6″ | PF Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State #178 Nation NC is a prospect that’s starting to really take notice with college coaches after his performance on the Adidas 3SSB stage with Team Loaded VA. Richmond and Arkansas State are the latest college programs to offer the 6-foot-6 big man. While he does play on the interior, his style of play is a lot like Zach Randolph. He’s a bruiser despite being undersized and can even step out on the perimeter and handle the ball with impressive mobility. He’s a mismatch nightmare in the making that’s starting to find his stride on the recruiting trail.
Jayan Walker Jayan Walker 6’5″ | SG Combine Academy | 2024 State NC is another 2024 name that’s had a busy week after his performance with Garner Road 3SSB at the Adidas Championships. Middle Tennessee State, Mount Saint Mary’s, Florida International, Marshall, Arkansas State, Robert Morris and Iona are the latest schools to offer him. He’s a menace in the mid-range area that utilizes his frame well to use his size to rise of defenders and knock down shot after shot in the halfcourt. He won’t hesitate to get to the paint and make things happen in traffic, either.
Mason Smith Mason Smith 6’7″ | PF Davidson Day | 2024 State NC is a new face that emerged during the June Live Period with Davidson Day School making a huge splash on the perimeter shooting front. He’s had a busy grassroots cycle as well with Team Charlotte on the UAA scene while recently generating offers from Drake, NJIT, High Point and Mercer as the month moves along. He’s a 6-foot-7 presence that’s capable of operating inside and out with his length and can shoot the ball on the perimeter at a high clip.
Isaiah Otyaluk Isaiah Otyaluk 6’7″ | SF Word Of God | 2024 State NC is another budding versatile name in the 2024 class that’s starting to get noticed on the recruiting trail with Team Curry East . He’s a 6-foot-7 prospect that’s learning how to utilize his length on the defensive to turn it into easy scores on the offensive side of the ball. Add that to his ability to get hot in a hurry on the perimeter and he’s instantly an impact player on the hardwood. Louisiana Tech is the latest college program to offer him as Division I’s start to show their needs.
Ari Fulton Ari Fulton 6’7″ | SF Westover | 2024 State NC is starting to draw the eyes of college coaches after his performance on the UAA stage with Team Curry. Presbyterian and Arkansas State are the latest schools to offer the budding swingman. He’s slowly figuring out how to utilize his athleticism on the fast break and shooting stroke offensively while understanding how to create chaos on the defensive end of the floor with his length and shot-blocking ability. He’s a name for college programs in the region to get to know.
Ryan Soulis Ryan Soulis 6’10” | C Asheville School | 2024 NC continues to grow on the recruiting trail in the 2024 class in the state after his performance on the EYBL stage with Boo Williams as he prepares for his final season at Asheville School. Rice, St. Mary’s College, St. John’s and Queens have all offered him in the months of June/July. He’s a long-term big man prospect that colleges should get eyes on given he’s also a member of the Greek National team. He’s capable of operating as a rim-runner and a presence in the high-post area with his nice shooting touch.
