The summer is quickly coming to a close, meaning the high school basketball season is getting closer and closer. I already looked into who some of the best duos in the state might be next season, now here are some sleeper duos to watch in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450941' first='Will' last='Sullivan'] ('24) & [player_tooltip player_id='1450572' first='Dane' last='Gardea'] ('24) - Walla Walla HS

Will has a fantastic jumper, hitting his threes consistently and at a high percentage. Sullivan is a great scorer on the court, being able to find his spots at all 3 levels consistently. He uses his size and length to his advantage down near the basket. Dane is a solid point guard who handles the ball at a high rate. He is normally the primary ball handler for Walla Walla but also plays off the ball very well as he hits catch and shoot threes at a high rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450931' first='John' last='Floyd'] ('24) & [player_tooltip player_id='1450618' first='Max' last='Mayo'] ('24) - Stanwood HS

Both John and Max have had great summers, showcasing improvement on both ends of the court. John scores at all 3 levels well, showcasing a well rounded offensive game all season last year and throughout the summer this year. He has been adding body mass to become stronger and it's been paying off as he has been a great rebounder on the court. Max is a great facilitator and has been doing a great job taking care of the ball on the offensive side of the ball. He hits his jump shots at a consistent rate and will have a great senior year next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1485653' first='Jaeger' last='Fyfe'] ('25) & [player_tooltip player_id='1984464' first='Talon' last='Jenkins'] ('25) - Meridian HS

Jaeger has done a great job as the primary scoring option for the Trojans over the past couple seasons. He showcases a lot of composure on the court, being patient around the rim and with the ball in his hands. He finds his teammates at a high level and brings a lot of energy on the court. Talon has been growing a lot, standing around 6'5" now. He uses his length very well on the defensive side of the ball, causing a lot of turnovers. Offensively, he has a nice crossover and can finish athletically around the rim and trough traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450959' first='Quinn' last='Swanson'] ('24) & [player_tooltip player_id='1587996' first='Michael' last='Johnson II']I ('25) - Mount Vernon HS

Michael does a great job at facilitating the offense and getting his teammates open shots. He runs the court in transition smoothly, pushing the ball down the court well and finishing his lay-ups. Quinn is a player who scores at a very high rate and easily drops 30/40 each game. He has a very good jump shot, from deep and from mid-range. His handles are solid and help him get to his spots at a consistent rate. He's going to have a breakout season next year after his very solid summer.
