Here is the 2024 class.
Darius Wilcher Darius Wilcher 6'3" | SG Rainier Beach | 2024 State WA – 2024 – Rainier Beach HS
Darius has been displaying his abilities on the court for Rainier Beach, but it has been in small portions due to his teammates getting more of the shot making opportunities. Wilcher is more than ready to be the main scoring guy and takes a great advantage of opportunities given to him. He does all the little things exactly how coaches want their point guards to play, especially making playing off two feet a requirement. He jumps out of the gym and will surprise a ton of people on the court next year.
Max Mayo Max Mayo 6'1" | CG Stanwood | 2024 State WA – 2024 – Stanwood HS
Max has been improving every single tournament as the summer has been progressing. He has been running the point guard for Stanwood, being the teams main facilitator and has been doing a phenomenal job at it. He has still been able to showcase his scoring abilities by hitting long range shots and sinking his mid-range shots. He’s a player who has been on the rise all summer.
Elijah Pierre – 2024 – Kamiak HS
Elijah played alongside his brother, Josiah, last season and played well. With his brother graduating, Elijah is going to have a bigger role and will be relied on more. When I watched Elijah last month during summer league, he did a great job at being the primary scorer/ball handler for Kamiak. He controlled the pace of the game well, pushing the ball in transition or slowing it down to run a play if he chooses too. He’s an interesting prospect to watch next year.
Luke Allison Luke Allison 6'8" | PF Gig Harbor | 2024 State WA – 2024 – Gig Harbor HS
Luke has a big 6’8″ frame that is very tough to guard. He is a presence down low in the paint and is patient with the ball in his hands down by the bucket. He is an anchor on the defensive side, holding down near the basket with ease. He has great shot blocking abilities and has been working on his lateral movement. If his offensive game keeps improving, he could be a top player in the class.
Lonnie Brown Jr Lonnie Brown Jr 6'1" | SG RA Long | 2024 State WA – 2024 – RA Long HS
Lonnie has had a great AAU season this year, showcasing improvement on the court in many different ways. He has been attacking the ball with more confidence, which leads to Lonnie letting the game come to him. He plays elite defense, being able to move his feet well to stay in front of the ball handler. His deep shot is and has been deadly, if he gets in a rhythm he could easily knock down 4+ threes in a game.
