After spending plenty of time in Fort Mill for Phenom Summer Havoc Session 1, I spent the weekend watching new teams and players for Session 2. With some teams playing both sessions, and others only playing this second session, I got to see a lot more new faces and really unearth some hidden gems from across the region. Here are some of my standouts from Saturday and Sunday's action.

He locked down the interior on defense in the games I saw, blocking shots and cleaning up misses with a rebounds with his long, 6'8 frame. Great arm extension and verticality which caused him to be more impactful than others his size. He then runs the floor hard and is an above the rim threat in both transition and the half court, able to take off from distance and finish. He could use to add a bit more weight and develop a perimeter game, but his mobility and shot-blocking upside are essential for regional schools and they should start contacting him now.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"Jordan Dixon","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'2u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"77244","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Oak Ridge","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"NLPB Select 2024","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Dixon is a sturdy combo guard that shows off an all around game on offense and should have more suitors with another year of development. He's got a big frame at 6'2 which makes him more imapctful around the rim, banging with defenders, and allowing him to absorb contact. He shot the ball well in the games I watched, with a consistent jump shot and an above average shot IQ. Also as a true point guard, he is solid in making the right play and not trying to force too much. He should be on the radar for JuCos and D3s in the area as another well-rounded offensive guard.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='2309912' first='Jamarcus' last='Brown']","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"6'6u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"77245","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Tunstall (VA)","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='2072281' first='Team' last='Amore']","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Brown had a couple of u0022oh my goodnessu0022 plays above the rim this weekend, but was incredibly impactful in many other areas of the game and should have more eyes on him. Very high motor that runs hard, looks to rotate in help defense and make the spectacular block. He gets out and runs well, which led to a few of the amazing above the rim plays I mentioned above. In the half court he finishes well at the rim, in the post, and can extend his range a bit to make himself less of a one dimensional player. He should be a D3 target for schools looking for an athletic 4 man who plays hard and impacts the game defensively.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2055664"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Gatehouse is getting better and better by the week as a combo guy who also shoots it well. Above average jumper and can shoot it off the catch or dribble in multiple areas of the floor. Seems to be in control and ahead of the game when it comes to IQ, pace, and court awareness, as he doesn't throw up wild shots or make a boneheaded play. He plays within himself, doesn't hold the ball for too long, and consistently does what he wants to do on offense. Defensively he is not really a factor, but there's still plenty of time for that to change. Having his IQ and patience as a rising sophomore is rare, and should make plenty of schools take notice when the time comes.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1869285"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Shaw was a standout for [program_tooltip program_id='2064432' first='PSB' last=''] Kisonas, looking to have grown a bit more into a thin, 6'4 frame who is a true combo guard. He shoots the ball well from the perimeter and with his body control makes things happen in the mid-range and paint area. He controls himself well and absorbs the bumps in order to get to his spots, a necessary skill for someone not as strong from appearance. Also a good playmaker and is consistent in making a good read, and has good vision with his size. Defensively he can impact things with his arms, but is still progressing in what he brings on that end. D2s and D3s will end up being involved with this guy who can shoot it really well.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64aad0c3d3d5f"} /-->
