UNSIGNED Seniors:
Jajuan Nicholls
Nicholls was still playing last weekend with 1 of 1. Nicholls was extremely effective around the basket with his thick frame. Jajuan was able to finish through contact and get to the foul line. He can knockdown the short corner jumper and really takes a lot of pride in rebounding the ball on both ends of the court.
Rose informed Prep Hoops that he will be headed to Florida Coastal Prep this coming season to do a postgraduate year. Rose running with Team Synergy finished with 18 points in a loss to Team Trezz today.
Vincent Alexander
Alexander plays across the border down in the Palmetto State at Clover HS. He runs with Team Hustle on the Grassroots Circuit. Vincent isn’t flashy at all, but he surely brings a great attitude and HUSTLE every time out. He NEVER stops playing the game. Alexander plays bigger than his size while he lacks some skills, he brings heart and effort to the table every time.
Class of 2024
Vick is an electrifying guard who can really get up quickly over defenders. Jordan and his Team Trezz teammates took care of business here today. Jordan dropped 26 points in a win over Team Synergy . Vick excels in the transition game with his quick ability to attack the rim. Jordan settled on some mid-range jumpers when he wasn’t creating havoc on the defensive end of the floor.
Jordan Patton Jordan Patton 6'5" | SF JL Chambers | 2024 State NC
Patton played the game in attack mode all day long for Upward Stars SE 3SSB Carolinas. Patton who attends Chambers HS in Charlotte. Jordan was a slasher-deluxe here today and really looked to stalk the baseline at times. All of his shots taken were high percentage that’s for sure.
SyRee Livingston SyRee Livingston 6'2" | SF South Florence | 2024 State SC
Livingston logged a lot of minutes today for his Upward Stars SE 3SSB Pee Dee Regional team. SyRee a left-handed forward did a bit of everything for his squad in opening game vs the Carolina Rebels . Livingston who transferred into South Florence HS from nearby Mullins HS will play football this coming fall for the Bruins. SyRee finished with 25 points by just being active around the paint and slashing to the rack. He did connect on a few three-pointers along the way.
Caleb Campbell Caleb Campbell 6'8" | PF Lexington | 2024 State SC
Campbell was productive in an opening round win for Upward Stars Columbia 17U. Caleb made the most of his opportunities scoring the ball inside the paint area. Campbell can step-out and feels very comfortable playing inside-out at times on the floor. He finished with 12 points in a win today. Thomas attends Class 5A Lexington HS in the Palmetto State.
Owen Stewart Owen Stewart 6'5" | SG Mauldin | 2024 State SC
Stewart came off the bench and delivered from downtown with his shooting. Owen is bit of specialist with his ability to knockdown shots behind the arc. He was able to set his feet and let it fly. He showed quick production to the lineup for Upward Stars SE 3SSB Harvey. Owen attends Mauldin HS in the Upstate.
Class of 2025:
Upward Stars SE 3SSB Carolinas 16U trio of Julian Johnson Julian Johnson 6'6" | PF Providence Day | 2025 State NC , Miles Leaks Miles Leaks 6'0" | SG Piedmont | 2025 State NC and Anderson Lee all did some damage here today. Johnson plays his game around the basket and manufactures points on his soft hands and finishing at the basket. Julian likes to stay in the paint area and finish up from 4 feet in on after attempts off the glass. He moves and runs the floor very well. Johnson plays at Lake Norman Charter HS.
Leaks who attends Piedmont HS was able to connect on some long three-point bombs from downtown here today. Miles uses the ball-screen well to turn the corner and race to the basket. He was able to finish with either hand at the basket quite easily today. Leaks delivered some clutch baskets time after time today.
Lee was quite savvy in his play today and certainly didn’t mind chatting it up at times. Anderson plays the game with a good deal of confidence on the floor. He finished drives on the way to the rack on a regular basis it seemed today. Anderson attends Cox Mill HS.
Team Trezz 2025 Davis Teammates:
Jaylen Hewitt Jaylen Hewitt 6'5" | SF West Carteret | 2025 State NC and Omaurie Phillips Omaurie Phillips 6'5" | SF Farmville Central | 2025 State NC showed some good moments this past weekend for their Eastern North Carolina based team. Hewitt who attends West Carteret HS in Morehead City also plays Quarterback in the fall for the Patriots. Hewitt was extremely effective with his play today and production. He scored all of his points close to the cup.
Phillips who attends Farmville Central also plays football in the fall as a Wide Receiver. Omaurie really just plays the game and doesn’t let anyone get under his skin. He has great demeanor on the floor. The athletic Phillips brings good versatility to the floor with his ability to defend all over the place. At one point today he scored 10 straight points for his squad in the game with just complete effort.
Future Rivals:
Madden Collins Madden Collins 6'3" | SG Christ School | 2025 State NC and Cedric Kenan Cedric Kenan 6'2" | PG Asheville School | 2025 State NC should see plenty of each other down the road now out in the Asheville area. Collins recently reclassified into the 2025 Hoop State now attends the Christ School after transferring in from Irmo HS in South Carolina. Kenan plays at the nearby Asheville School for the Blues.
Collins was here running with Upward Stars Columbia 17U while Kenan plays with Team Eat. Collins and his teammates had no problems cruising in their opening round games.
Kenan and Team Eat went down to the wire and overtime to secure a win over the FCA Eagles. Cedric really likes to chat it up at times while on the floor. Kenan dropped several mid-range jumpers here today and really played a solid game from the backcourt. Cedric is quite vocal at times on the floor and really showed a great effort finishing buckets through contact today for Team Eat.
