Another weekend, another top performance for Owen Stewart Owen Stewart 6'5" | SG Mauldin | 2024 State SC . The Senior Wing had another high-scoring game playing with Next Level Elite Poole on Saturday at the Phenom Challenge. Although he had a somewhat cold start to the game, by his standards, he caught fire in the second half to help his team pull away to a First-Round victory over Shelby Sports Academy. He had 18 points in the period connecting on all four of his attempts from behind the arc. Stewart is a tremendous wing with a gift for putting the ball in the basket from the inside and out.

In the first game of the season with Next Level Elite Poole, Owen came out on a mission dropping 16 points in the first 6 minutes against NC Bulldogz. Owen was getting the rack at will, both in transition and in the half-court, finishing over defenders and through contact. He also showed an ability to knock down a perimeter shot effectively, hitting 3 en route to a 32-Point night. Stewart received an offer from Erskine College on Monday.

Owen is one of the more under-the-radar players on my Summer Standout List, but he quickly became one of my favorite players to watch. Stewart has a great balance in his game and can play in several different roles depending on his team. In particular, Owen had a great close to the Summer, putting up stellar performances in June at the Sizzlin’ Summer Shootout with Mauldin High School and in July at the Phenom Hardwood Classic with Upward Stars Upstate Harvey.

Stewart really had some solid showings this summer with his play with the Upward Stars Upstate Harvey squad. Owen was a deep threat at times from downtown and brought instant offense to the table when in the game. Stewart plays the game at a nice even keel at all times while on the floor.

Another of the more under-the-radar standouts from Day 2 at the Phenom Hardwood Classic is Owen Stewart Owen Stewart 6'5" | SG Mauldin | 2024 State SC . Owen is a solid all-around player that makes winning plays and hustles until the last second. Stewart has steadily progressed all Spring and into the Summer, and should see an increased role in the Upcoming High School Season. In particular, Owen had a really good game on Saturday Afternoon against Team CP3 E16. Owen had 12 Points and 7 Rebounds including 2 3s in a tough loss.
